Video Game Demo Discs?

Well, I know that Dragonball Z 3 recieved a demo disc release in Japan, but I was curious as to whether or not any other games got demos in Japan. If it is just one of those X-Box Marketplace-type download-able demos, I don't really care too much about it, but if there were any other physical game demos put out, any info on them would be much appreciated.

I guess if there have also been any demo cartridges (like for the DS or something) released, I would be just as interested in any info on them (I already know about the Dragonball: Daimao Fukkatsu demo/prototype, but if anyone has any pictures or info on it, it would be much appreciated).

DS Demos are distributed digitally, both through the Wii's Nintendo Channel and through DS Demo Stations at certain stores, not through cartridges with demos on them. A demo for Dragon Ball Origins was released in Japan through the Nintendo Channel, as well as America much later, but I don't know if either are still up. If I remember correctly the stage featured in the demo was an original stage made specifically for the demo, and does not appear in the actual game.

That's neat. Do you know if the demo is still available anywhere? Or what it was titled (in Japanese)? Thanks.

As for the name, I think it was just called Dragon Ball DS Demo in Japan, and Dragon Ball Origins Demo in America.

Nintendo switches the DS demos regularily, so it's unlikely that DragonBall DS's demo is still available.

@Taku128: Haha, I know, that's why I said "anywhere". I was just curious if you knew of someone who had it saved or any place that was still hosting it.

Don't know how or when it was distributed, though... yet. Or even how much it cost, but I'm working on that all.

The DS demos are stored in temporary memory and are deleted as soon as you turn off your DS. The only way anyone could still have it is if they hooked their DS up to a charger and never used it to play anything except the demo.
