The Movies, in a brick

Post by DNA » Thu Jul 09, 2009 11:40 am

If Funimation released another box set, this time with the movies, yes, the 16 movies, would you be interested in it? Would you buy it?

I haven't bought any of the Double Feature Steelbooks yet.

And with the upcoming re-release of Dragon Ball and if by chance, DFSB of the four movies, then I'll be glad to buy it. It'll be the American version of Dragon Box: The Movies

It'll be good if they will add the Playdia video and the Jump Special.

EDIT:

Disc 1: DB Movies 1-2

Disc 2: DB Movies 3-4

Disc 3: DBZ Movies 1-2-3

Disc 4: DBZ Movies 4-5-6

Disc 5: DBZ Movies 7-8-9

Disc 6: DBZ Movies 10-11-12

Disc 7: DBZ Movies 13-Playdia-JS

Or

Disc 1: DB Movies 1-2

Disc 2: DB Movies 3-4

Disc 3: DBZ Movies 1-2-3

Disc 4: DBZ Movies 4-5-6

Disc 5: DBZ Movies 7-9-12

Disc 6: DBZ Movies 8-10-11

Disc 7: DBZ Movies 13-Playdia-JS

Probably not, since I'd only want to watch about 7 of them more than once. That's 8 wastes of money.

I dunno, It's released too much of DVD's until now, I'm not interested in everything Dragon Ball. There's new pot, ha, there's new figure, there's new video game, new DVD! I like to collect things but some of them are too much 8)

Really?

Also, I would buy this supposed movie collection in a second . . . PROVIDED that there was something extra added to make my purchase worthwhile, like special features or the inclusion of the new JUMP special.

If I may add that, while I would be interested in purchasing such a set, its release would be absolutely ridiculous considering the movies' release history. First it was the original 4:3 releases, then it was the 16:9 Double Features, and now they're rereleasing those as singles . . . and then we want a box set? Why now? Why not before when it was viable?!

I've wanted a movie box after FUNimation released Season 1 brick. But instead we got the steelbooks and wasn't too thrilled but at least they look cool.

I really don't want them to package the Jump special with all the other movies as I don't want to buy 2nd (or in some cases, 3rd) copies of dvds I already own. :(

I'd rather just buy the special as a standalone, ala Trunks and Bardock.

With some touching up(that common metallic font FUNi loves), that could definately pass for a real cover.

Sign me up for my... Quadruple dip!

If it fits in with the season sets then I'm sold!

Too much emphasis on the non-Super Saiyan movies and Broly is covered up by the logo.

Doesn't pass for a real set cover. :P

You can't see Bio-Broly either, but so what?

How does this not pass for a real cover? The design is phenomenal, albeit with flaws.

We'd probably get an orange brick with Broli on the cover.
