Regarding HAL Labs...(Jump Superstars)
I know everyone has taken this as common knowledge ever since they saw HAL Labs name behind the project but...HOLY moly...
Since we KNOW it will be a Smash Brother game from the obvious style, in both the logo and the screenshots, and since we know that it's actually developed by HAL Labs...the question must have crossed your mind.
Will MARIO and gang pit himself against the likes of Goku, Gohan, and VEGETA?!
...oh and the One Piece/Naruto/other stuff crews...
Wish Kenshin was among those names...
Here's the Jeux France page for reference. I'm pretty sure it was posted before but I thought I might save some people the trouble.

Speaking of this...
Would anyone be interested in typing up an updated block of text for "The Buzz" for me? I just haven't kept up as best as I should/could have on developments with this game, and I'd certainly appreciate it.

To be brutally honest...nope.VegettoEX wrote:Speaking of this...

(But I will do it if no one jumps on it soon.) <---(Imagine the letters are striked out)
EDIT: After reading how substantial your entry for it already was, I think there are people here far more capable than me.
EDIT 2: Also I forgot what the topic was about so uh anyone's speculation about the Nintendo team is welcome.

Hahaha...you know HAL made Smash Bros. and that they ARE just an in-house portion of Nintendo? Besides, I'm pretty sure Nintendo is publishing this, right?Tanooki Kuribo wrote:I don't think Mario would make a cameo, being it's under Nintendo's name. Kirby on the other hand is all Hal's. I guess it would be cool to see Goku fight another pink blob.
HAL is Nintendo. Anyway, I wouldn't expect Mario, but there are rumors that a charachter from Fire Emblem(strategy/rpg game, which had some mangas published in the Shonen Jump) might be in the game.Tanooki Kuribo wrote:I don't think Mario would make a cameo, being it's under Nintendo's name. Who said HAL was making the game? http://www.the-magicbox.com/0412/game041214g.shtml states that Ganbarion will be making the game.

MagicBox also said it was gonna be on PSP.CloakBass wrote:Who said HAL was making the game? http://www.the-magicbox.com/0412/game041214g.shtml states that Ganbarion will be making the game.
Besides...even if it isn't explicitly HAL, there is still Nintendo involvement.

Got a point there, but I don't wanna get my hopes up only to be dashed. There isn't enough information for either one of us making conclusions. It would thoroughly rock if HAL made it, but I want to be prepared for Ganbarion(I consider them to be HAL Lite).Mugenmidget wrote:MagicBox also said it was gonna be on PSP.CloakBass wrote:Who said HAL was making the game? http://www.the-magicbox.com/0412/game041214g.shtml states that Ganbarion will be making the game.

Deja Vu! I considered on doing a parody video of Kirby (played by my character "Shorty") some months ago, with the end having "Herby" absorbing to become a Super Saiyan and Kamehamha! Small World.
Fry: Wow. The jungles on Mars look like the jungles on Earth.

My brother would crap himself if he had the chance to play an SS3 Kirby. He loves the little guy.
But it's weird that not as many people have tried to capitalize on the fame of SSB. I can only think of less than five games in that style.

Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!
Regarding the topic on hand: It's pretty much a no-brainer that Nintendo would want to stick some of their mascots here. They'd feel more at home than say... Soul Caliubur 2 or NBA Street V3.
Nintendo would probably want to stick with their anime-style characters, like the TV character designs of Pokemon and Fire Emblem, to fit better with the style of the game. Then again, a lot of these characters are from manga that aren't exactly conventional as far as art goes. In that case, it'll likely be the big guys like Mario, Link and Yoshi. Personally though, I think Wario and Kirby were made for this game.
DAMMIT! I WANT MORE INFO NOW!
