Post by DragonBalllKaiHD » Wed Jul 15, 2009 7:49 pm

I'm quite confused now. I would be appreciative if you help me on this one. How many VAs have Roshi gone through? And when? Thanks :D

Kouhei Miyauchi: The original VA. From the start until Muten Roshi's death at the hands of Buu.
Hiroshi Masuoka: Used at the end of Z and in GT.
Masaharu Satou: Movie 13 and Kai.
Kinya Aikawa: Used in the 10th anniversary Special.

You can listen to podcast episode 107 to hear Daizex's opinion of all the different voices.

On this side of the Pacific, you got Ian Corlett for the DB series and DBZ up until his leaving the show, and the tv-version of Tree of Might. Someone else plays him in Curse of the Blood Rubies and the 3 DBZ films, but I'm not sure who. Funimation's VA is Mike McFarland.

Mike Donovan played him DB M1 and Dave Ward played him in DBZ 01 - 03.

Terry Klassen voiced him in the Ocean Group dub of episodes 108-276

Don Brown, actually. Don Brown was confused for Dave Ward for years.

Dave Ward voiced Ocean's Ox-King.
