FUNimation, you so crazy!

I'm really happy that these are finally coming out over here (especially interested in those 80 page books), but damn, FUNi is really taking the fans for a ride aren't they?

I wonder, how many versions of DragonBall Kai will they end up releasing?

Who knows what else will get? A redub of Season 3, maybe?! Funi's finally getting it right.

I know that Dragonball is by far FUNimation's most profitable license... but I never thought they'd actually release a proper version of Dragonball Z in my lifetime.

If we could just get an un-borked with copy of the manga outta Viz.

Which is kind of a given, since they're releasing them in smaller chunks instead of one gigantic box. But cool nonetheless that they're using the same style.

Yes, they *should* have all the correct credits as well as all previews minus the Trunks special preview.

Edit: Assuming they include the specials and extra features, although I don't see why not.

Hey guys:

Posting from my buddy Bob's laptop. So the "Dragon Box" announcement was the LAST thing they did in their news/acquisitions area of the panel/presentation. The trailer was narrated by Chris Sabat in-character as Vegeta, so I think we can assume *a* dub will be included (no word on which/how/why/where).

I have some more pics up on my Twitter stream, as others have been posting. I e-mailed a bunch more over to Julian, so hopefully he can clean up my hasty update and include a little more stuff.

That's all I gotz for ya' right now. It was a pretty fun announcement
