No word if they will redub AGAIN, I'd say they would just carry it over since there main focus seems to be on the original uncut footage.

Yeah, well, I'm sort of pissed that I bought the bricks, and at the same time happy as hell about these. Screw you FUNi, how much of my money can you take? Damn I can not wait to get my hands on these puppies.:D
Gohan: At least he doesn't have his sword out anymore.
Kuririn: Yeah, and your dad put his finger away too.

I'll bet money that the only new dubbing is Sean Schemmel doing the NEPs.

They might also dub Head Cha La and We Gotta Power since they've dubbed every other DB intro song already.

This will probably only be $60 at Wal-Mart.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Ditto.

Honestly though, in this day and age, Blu-ray should be announced/released alongside DVD. It's kind of bullshit to release a DVD only to have a "surprise" Blu-ray announcement a couple months later.

That would be pretty sweet if they do that. As long as they get the translations spot on.

I bet they won't sell it at walmart. It might be an online retailer only thing.

Anyone else think they'll do an English Cha-La Head Cha-la for the English dub?

EDIT: Dammit, too late to ask that, this forum's moving too fast!

I don't know if a release like this is going to be necessarily very easy to find in a lot of stores, I'd take a guess that FUNi is still going to keep the season sets in print as they are the more profitable and marketable option to the "nine year olds" out there.

Maybe we could get Kageyama's English versions. :)

They said it's going to all major retailers.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

So true, Although Funi does work in mysterious ways or ways just to screw us fans around.

It's a long shot, But we can always hope.

They want every cent out of us when it comes to Dragon Ball. As the Funi rep said at that other expo, it prints frickin' money.

Yeah but they'll doubt they'll order as many and i doubt they'll be restocked as often.

I highly doubt there'll be redubbing. They'll get either Sean Schemmel or Kyle Hebert to dub the previews and MAYBE dub the songs, but that's about it. Dubbing costs a ton of money. Between getting the D-Box footage and audio, replicating the packaging, and subbing/dubbing the previews, I think FUNi's already spent a fortune.

I don't think Funi's gonna dick us around like Toei did.

That's easy, its the fact that they bought the masters from them. FUNI can tell TOEI to go to hell.
