Are you kidding I hope that "XTREME" music is back on the menus....seriously though I'll be glad when I never have to hear that sorry excuse for music again. That HARDCORE X-TREME shit pretty much channels dub DBZ in its entirety and I want no part of it.Castor Troy wrote:Let's also hope the scouter menus are properly translated and not replaced with anything else.

There is! Remember? I told you that there's likely another dub on there and you snapped at me like, "I know, dude!" and then got all mad because you might not get two dubs and two different music tracks for our one dub with one music track that we want.jjgp1112 wrote:I'm not raining on your parade. EDIT: And, I really don't mean to be mean about this one but, this time it may just be about sub fans. There's gonna be a dub on there, but this one is marketed at the Japanese fans.

What about the part where you make fun of it every chance you get?NeptuneKai wrote:Are you kidding I hope that "XTREME" music is back on the menus....seriously though I'll be glad when I never have to hear that sorry excuse for music again. They still have another gig with 7 episodes and three audio tracks.Puto wrote:The japanese audio in the season sets was encoded at a VERY low quality.jjgp1112 wrote:The last Season set had 7 episodes per disc and three audio options and the quality was excellent.

You guys are acting like this is the first time you've ever gotten the Japanese version. EVERY FREAKING DVD before this had the Japanese version.Kendamu wrote:There is! Remember? Well okay I will take that part. If it's going to annoy me all to hell it may as well be good for a laugh.Innagadadavida wrote:What about the part where you make fun of it every chance you get?NeptuneKai wrote:Are you kidding I hope that "XTREME" music is back on the menus....seriously though I'll be glad when I never have to hear that sorry excuse for music again. The first release was never completed and the second release was in 16:9 with a pretty bad first 100 episodes of video quality. We haven't gotten what we wanted yet.jjgp1112 wrote:You guys are acting like this is the first time you've ever gotten the Japanese version. I'm aware, that'd be shit marketing. But it's what they're trying to get across, as it's usually fans of the original who crave the Dragon Boxes, a large majority of the dub fanbase don't even know what a Dragon Box is. If you're a fan of the dub, and have the Season Sets, there's really no reason to buy these, unless you REALLY have a stiffy for 4:3 (and brilliant consistant quality).jjgp1112 wrote:Oh for the love of God - FUNI never said that this set is intended for subbies only - they said hardcore fans. That can mean ANYTHING.
Not quite, the Japanese track is painful to listen to sometimes, ranging from ok to unbearable.jjgp1112 wrote: Plus, THE JAPANESE VERSION IS ALREADY ON THE FRICKIN SEASON SETS. Technically, with that logic, we BOTH have our releases.
You've got'em already, as I say, if you've completed your collection, and FUNimation's Season Sets are still (and most likely will remain) in print.jjgp1112 wrote:WE'RE JUST ASKING FOR THEM TO GIVE US OPTIONS

ell congratulations. But dub fans should be able to get what they want too: to be able to have the option to watch it with two BGM options.Kendamu wrote:The first release was never completed and the second release was in 16:9 with a pretty bad first 100 episodes of video quality. Not in 16:9
Not in 100 episodes of shitty quality.
See? We have certain needs too.

Wait... DUBBIES are calling unfair on this?
Ok, I'm sorry, but I have to say this.
WELCOME TO OUR LIVES FOR THE PAST 13 YEARS!!
Seriously.
For 13 Years FUNimation has done release after release that has catered primarily to the English Dub Fanbase, every time they did something that Pissed off those of us who like the Japanese version.
First - Pioneer Dub-Only DVDs (This one speaks for itself...)
Second - FUNi singles (Missing the first 66 Episodes in English... If you were a dub fan, you had to watch the Ocean dub for the first 2 Sagas, but you had the whole series)
Third - Ultimate Uncuts (Canceled Halfway through ONE season...)
Fourth - The Season Sets (a Dub Fan's DREAM, Includes the ENTIRE series, in a consistent format, with TWO dub tracks, one with Original Japanese Music, one with The Faulconer Score)
Even if this set DIDN'T include the English version. Oh well, go buy the bricks.
Seriously. If this Pisses you off, well sorry. Suck it up and deal with it like we did for 13 years.
Plus, I highly doubt FUNi will be discontinuing the Orange Bricks. But these sets have the JAPANESE version as default for a reason. It tells me by "Hardcore" they meant "Sub-Fans" So just because BOTH dub tracks aren't present, doesn't mean they're somehow kicking your Dog. Go buy the Orange Bricks and be happy with your version.

You're getting the dub on there, too. Why are you still arguing this?jjgp1112 wrote:ell congratulations. Now, tell me this. What power do you think I have that arguing it with me might make two BGM options happen?jjgp1112 wrote:What's in bold is why.Kendamu wrote:You're getting the dub on there, too. He hates the English BGM for the first 2 seasons because it's not Faulconer, so he wants the Japanese BGM for those episodes, but he wants to be able to switch to the Fulconer BGMs come Season 3.
Am I right?
