Edit: Nevermind. That doesn't disproove the height chart's credibility.

But they're not even standing straight on the same line. ^^; That doesn't look very accurate to me. @_@;

I don't think any height chart is 100% reliable, since characters seem to be drawn differently from saga to saga, and sometimes episode to episode (sometimes from frame to frame!)

For example; sometimes Fat Boo can appear really short, and the tallest I've ever seen him was at the group photo at end of DBZ, where he's towering over Piccolo and Ox King.

Budokai 3 f****d up hands down on that one. Fat Boo is bigger than we would think he is. Ox King and Piccolo have to be 6'6 to 6'8 where as Fat Boo would brush noses with Shaq.

How short do we ever see him? For some reason I never thought him to be that big. I'm trying to think back to the Majin Vegeta battle and I don't remember Buu being like, HUGE or anything (umm height wise.. he's obviously quite round..).

Yeah because Majin Buu was the same height as Vegeta or a little bit taller(correct me if I'm wrong). The height seems to depend when you're watching the show though.

To be honest, I think that Vegeta is taller than what you think. Compare him the the normal regular humans and you'll find that Vegeta is approximately the same height if not taller. Goku is taller than most humans. The Tenchaiki Budoukai probably doesn't count as there always seem to be gigantic bruisers competing anyway. The Saiya-jin as a general rule, seem to be taller than the humans. This is in the Buu saga however...as Vegeta DOES seem shorter in the Saiya-jin, Namek and Freeza saga. Late growth spurt maybe?

Most likely the Saiyan genes, or a change in Toriyama's mind about how he should draw Vegeta. Over the years he looks more and more proportional.

I was surprised at how especially tall Vegeta looked in Movie 13 against the group of office workers when he was chucked into the building by Hildergarn. He does seem to get taller over the course of the manga and anime.

But then if you look at his proportions in the Neko Majin Z chapter he looks like he's back to his Freeza Saga height. ^_^;;
Not that that counts or not.
