Wait, I thought it was pronounced "Gay-ro" with more of an emphasis on the capital "A" sound and not the capital "E" sound.
In the Japanese version it appears as though the man's name is pronounced with capital "A".

The name "Gero" is pronounced as I had it written: "geh - ro"
"g" = as in "get"
"eh" = as in "get"
"ro" = as in "rose"
No real emphasis on anything.
