Ho-ree crap! I've never seen a DB-themed Mario hack, let alone one about Yamcha. I need to find this one...

Someone should really make that into a hack.

...or something similar.

I am almost certain it isn't real, the quality of the Tenshinhan, and Kami sprites are far more Snes like, than the Nintendo could handle. You would need to entirely rewrite the game itself to do something like that.

Well, when you look at it, it's pretty obvious that it isn't real. The Yamcha, Krillin, Puar sprites were taken from the Dragon Ball NES game. The Tenshinhan and Piccolo sprites were taken from some of the DBZ RPGs from the SNES.

I just found it funny.

Reminds me of a "Pikachu's World"(Super Mario Land) in those cheap 100 in 1 bootlegged Gameboy games. I just played Tetris for hours instead. (Thought: Dragonball Tetris! Line up one row with all 7 DB, get a special bonus from Shen long!)

After closer inspection, it is not possible for it to be a hack. They are all just mock-ups.

But I love this line:
"Tank you Yamcha! Your guest is over. We present you a new quest. Push Button B to select a world."

DragonBall Tetris is an interesting concept... I might have to look into that.

The Tenshinhan and Piccolo sprites are from Dragonball Z: Super Gokuden 2. Which was the better of the Gokuden series. And had multiple endings--including evil Gohan.
... Maybe later.

Evil Gohan?
How does that ending come about?
