Someone has to just say no to funi. I'm Not buying.

Four reasons.

1. Funi is not getting anymore money out of me because they can't listen to the fans the first time and make them buy their dvd releases over 4 times.

2. I've already got 5 of the DBZ Orange boxes and all the movie double tin sets.

3. I got the Viz Dragon Ball box sets and much rather read them than watch the crap that is the tv show.

4. Just wait till Funi puts Kai out too...

Fuck toei and funi.

I'm half attempted to agree with this. I'm totally psyched about this footage but the common sense part of me is going "you own this shit already, it's a cartoon fuck it."

I'll stil probably pick this up though and only ASAP because I'm scared they will discontinue it within the first few months due to low sales.

They already purchased all of the masters, so I can't imagine them discontinuing the releases. I know we are only a small section of the Dragon Ball fandom, but I think quite a few people will buy these, and with the Funi ad machine in full force, Funi will definitely make some bank on these.

Some people on here have already mentioned that many "casual viewers" are interested in these sets.

1. The first time Funimation released Dragonball Z, they were an infant company. They had to rely upon the help of Saban and follow Saban's asanine censorships and changes. The second time (still kind of the first time though) that Funimation put out the series, they had to keep up with what a majority of their audience knew: they're edited dub. They didn't have the resources to go back and properly release the early part of the series while simulatenously catering to the people that were giving them the big bucks.Yah, the Ultimate Uncut was fucked up; I can't defend that. The Orange Bricks were the definitive release for the casual fan. If someone is satisfied with that, then the Dragon box isn't for them.

2. Good. I hope that they satisfy you enough to not regret not buying the Dragon Box.

3. If the show is crap, why spend hundreds of dollars on it?

4. Enjoy waiting... I don't think that I could wait that long.

5. Yes. Fuck Toei for creating the show and then remastering it a decade later. Those bastards. Damn them to hell. Fuck Funimation too. Who the hell do they think that they are trying to make money. Do they think that they're some kind of business or some bullshit like that?

Unfortunately, COMPLETELY Cleaning up the scan would require I vector it, and that would take a long while, so the scan is a bit off, but otherwise it's fine.

The missing lines DOES appear past the first 3 sets. Without even digging up evidence, the Final Flash scene (which is set 5?) was riddled with missing lines. With the exception of the last two seasons (I believe, maybe the last three), its always there, jut no where near the extent of season 2's and 3's mess. I don't know about you guys, but I noticed it when the screen shook.

EDIT: Evidence found, just watch Trunks, but you see it around Cell, Vegeta and Kuririn too.
