Just noticed that I used "Tien" in a post and it changes to "Tenshinhan" (I'm guessing this uses the censor option in admin panel, or something similar).
What other names/words are "censored" like this?
EDIT: Oh right, can't say that word.

I mean the Funi name for Tenshinhan, of course.

"Hercule" is automatically changed to Mr. Satan.
"Freiza" and other variants become Freeza.
I think that most of the ways to spell "Goku" have been condensed into just that, although I can't be sure.

Why would Goku need to be changed?

Pikkon is as well. I don't think that there is anything bad about that one. It is just a more palletable version of Pikkon for the native English speaker. Oh well...

Yeah, I realized that. Although it seems they're all acceptable.

That one's left alone. Even Mike has been known to speak the name that way, mainly because it's slightly easier.

That's not quite as entertaining though.

Fair enough.
I've taken the list of dub names off of wikipedia. We're going to see which ones change (I don't feel like deleting the numbers, but they shouldn't effect it because there is a space)

2.6 Vegeta
2.7 Trunks
2.8 Yamcha

Hercule becomes Hercule. Gokou becomes Gokou. Frieza becomes Frieza. There are probably a lot more that I can't remember.
You can get around the word filer by putting bold/italics/underline codes between them (quote my post to see what I mean), but this should only be done when necessary, like right now for instance.
Edit: Wow, between me writing this and posting it a ton of people replied.

It isn't particularly necessary, since "uu" in English reads and sounds the same as "oo".

I can't think of any instances of "uu" equating "oo"

Boo.
Hmm. Buu seems to the most widely used spelling. Although Viz did use Boo, it never stuck with me. Generally the first names I learned for the characters are the ones I still use, hence using "Tien".
Although for some reason I changed from Frieza to Freeza after reading the manga. That seems to have been the only one that stuck.
