I'm not even a dub fan, and I wasn't being defensive. But THIS SCENE is not affected whatsoever by it being dubbed, so I have no idea why it is even an issue.

Mike himself said that most of the fans here are dub fans. Hell, in Mike's blog, he quoted me saying that on the IGN Boards and he said I was the only person in that thread with my head on straight.

I don't think my post was awfully horrible I legitimately couldn't watch the clip so I couldn't give my opinion on it and stated so clearly. I will admit a few posts were a little over the top with stuff like "OH MAN ANOTHER WIN FOR THE SUB, THE JAPANESE VERSION IS WAAAAY BETTER!" It did seem unwarranted.

However I find nothing wrong with asking for the Japanese clips of these scenes jjgp1112 it would be like you wanting a clip of the English version if everyone was talking about a scene from the "Big Green" dub.

Most English-speaking fans of DBZ are fans of the FUNimation dub so that's to be expected.

What I find absolutely baffling is that FUNimation fans are in the majority and yet many are insecure and defensive when someone criticizes the dub.

Okay, that might have been a bit much when I said that. To be honest, I like both the Japanese and Funimation dubs. If I had choice between the two, I'd say I like the Japanese version more, but I still understand that there are fans of both versions here.

It's cool when your version of the show is being insulted you naturally feel the need to defend it. I understand that feeling. When you're arguing with someone relentless just roll your eyes and move on, that's what I do (or attempt to do anyway...I'm not great at it.)

It isn't even that I'm that big of a dub fan, I only like it because it was a part of my childhood. I totally acknowledge that the original version is better. I just don't see any reason to attack dub fans over their preference in entertainment.
