I don't see it. Besides, I trust FUNi this time around "We haven't changed a damn thing".

I know they won't do random shit to it.

Yeah, I really don't see it. I even compared it to the clips that MysticTrunksHQ is posting from his DBox single and it looks EXACTLY the same. Some of you are being a little too negative.

I didn't see any difference. If there is any, I'm chalking it up to it being a standard quality YouTube video. It looked really nice for standard quality, but it's still nothing to go bananas over.

Now where is this taking place at? If it is in this thread then I apologize, because it is simply too long for me to keep up with!

Link please? :(

MysticTrunksHQ's channel:

He's posted the first 3 episodes. Straight from the Dragon Box singles and in HQ.

So, just looking at the packaging for the Dragon Box on the DaizEX homepage and on the DVD guide at Kanzentai, I noticed that each little case thingie hods four discs a piece. It looks like FUNi's DBox could fit two of those cases in there, making room for eight discs. FUNi could easily have four discs in the first case and three in the second with the only change being that the second case has spots to put three DVDs instead of four. The box itself would pretty much stay the same size and not much would have to change in terms of their mock-up that's touring around right now.

Heck, it probably took more work to add a sixth disc to the Season Sets than it would to add a seventh disc to the Dragon Box. To make a DVD from scratch only costs like 30 cents and if FUNimation doesn't have to use extra materials to the casing to add the disc, they can probably keep the exact same MSRP.

If they did, do you think they would use the Dragon box singles art as DVD labels?

Are Gokuden's Dragon Box rips on Youtube bootlegs? Comparing his stuff to Funi's trailer as well as MysticTrunksHQ's uploads they look bright as hell and way over saturated compared to those two. I just remember he was on Daizex a little while ago always talking about his bootlegs, so I'm unsure if these are what he was talking about.

Chances are, because it's a trailer, FUNi were a little less lenient on the video compression. Most trailers are the same.

I remember some big debacle about him and bootlegs and whatnot and he kept saying that his Dragon Boxes were real and stuff. I dunno. He got banned and has come back one or twice under other names, I think.

I really didn't pay too close attention.

Well, actually, none of his videos are actually his. SSJToreto said his HQ episodes were from some other user on a forum. Also, his DBZ videos are taken directly from and in the same order as the user Milieu, although he closed his account over a year ago. And of course, Gokuden claims he ripped it from his Dragon Box. His menu animations and OP and EDs were taken from the user DragoBox2008. And his video showing the Next Episode preview for episode 194 has been posted several times before he ever postedit on YouTube, although he once again claimed that he ripped it directly from his Dragon Box and that he got a request from a user about it.

Conclusion: All of Gokuden's videos are from other people's Dragon Boxes.

Wow. Kid has some issues with getting peoples' approval or something. Here's to hoping the R1 DBoxes make him a better person.

EDIT: Well, that was odd.

What's sad is that his forums are a strange bizarro world. All of the accounts on there are him (including mine - I made an account a few months ago exposing him for all of his crap and posting links to threads here that he was stealing from and since hes the admin, he looked up my passowrd and has been using my account there ever since) and he always talks about how he has the legit DBoxes and posts screencaps that users like ect5150 and SSJToreto posted here, claiming they're his. And posts from "other" users are a bunch of dickriding and telling other users who aren't being controlled by Gokuden that he's the only one on YouTube who doesn't have Dragon Box bootlegs. It's very surreal. And he always talks shit about these forums. Me and a bunch of users on IGN rioted his forum a while ago because he wouldn't delete my account, so then he IP banned me and claimed that he "blocked the IP addresses of all Daizex members." Of course, he'd actually have to know the IP addresses of everyone else here to actually do that, but let the man enjoy thinking he has everyone fooled with his lies and bluffs

That makes me question where bootlegs come into the picture...
