Yes. And by yes I mean no, as in I'm not gonna do it.

First off, I'm almost positive that it's illegal to just rip all that content off the DVDs and slap them on the internet.
Second, I don't know how to do it, nor do I care to learn.

If you make another thread, I'll be more than happy to make as many screen caps as you want from any of the Dragon Box sets, but I'm not gonna rip any video.

PS - Would you mind editting the quote out of your last reply? It just looks like a huge double post or something...

I, on the other hand, would rip things of that nature and post them on my own website (I even gave VegettoEX the openings and closings for DB in VOB form, save for one which I will have to transfer to him via AIM sometime), simply because they will *never* come into existance over here. However, that will be at my own convenience, and probably quite some time from now (since I'm 20, engaged, work full time, study, take Tae Kwon Do, plan on buying a car to overhaul in roughly a year, try to learn Japanese, and...uh, whatever else comes to mind).

I will not, however, distribute full episodes, so don't ask. Yes, FUNi's discs technically are inferior and honestly kind of embarassing, but it's too damned time consuming for me to rip full episodes/movies/"OVAs" and encode them, nevermind the legal/moral dilemma involved.

Now, if someone wants to tutor me in Japanese, a 1:1 copy of the Dragon Boxes on dual layer DVD+R's may somehow fall into their possession... *whistles* ;p

P.S. - I'm kidding about that last part....sort of... ;)

The logistics and legalities, and their appropriate discussions, can just be taken elsewhere. Thanks :).

I remember that people were asking about where to get Dragon Boxes earlier, so I figured I'd post this...

Browsing through Ebay I found Dragon Box Z Vol. 2
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... eName=WDVW
and the original DB Dragon Box
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... eName=WDVW

They're both starting at US $458.34, which is one hell of a bargain, so if you're interested I'd recommend picking them up!

$400!!!!!!!!!

That is disgusting. Anyone who has that money lying around should get them or be shot in the face. That's like the deal of the century (and it's only 2005!)

Oh man, it's incredibly hard to resist buying that, so maybe I won't. It seems odd to include those in this box though, they would have fit much better in the Dragonball Box, I have to wonder why they weren't put in there. It'd be nice to finally see them (considering I've only ever heard of them once before) though. But one's 15 minutes and ones 11 minutes? Kids in Japan must be a lot better behaved then kids in America, I don't know any kids that would sit through either of those even if they were animated. The only people I know that would sit through those are people that already know all that stuff. Would have thought it would have worked better is they had gotten straight to the point.

They are from the Dragonball Box, the special features for the GT Box have yet to be announced.

Oops, I guess I got confused (Now I'll have to save up for the Dragonball Box too). Is there really anything else to add to the DBGT Box? I suppose they could add the intros to the Playstation games, but I can't think of anything besides that.

Somewhere exists actual full-frame, full-bitrate, full-frame-rate digital masters of the UB22, Legends, & Final Bout openings.

I'm damn well sick of trying to clean-up the footage from the 320x240, 15 fps, Indeo-based PS1 files through absolutely insane AVS scripting that I lose myself in.

PUT THEM ON A DVD BOX-SET.

In short, I agree.
