Why is everyone voting for the Brief's? That is shit. That. Is. SHIT!

From what I've watched from the series Vegeta and Bulma seems to be the most competent parents I've ever known. Let's look at the raw facts: Bulma was a spoiled brat, probably a little loose too but she's rich and she's in charge of a major company. She has enough money to support her leeching husband and put her kids through ten colleges. Don't give me that crap about her popping a kid out of wedlock. Are you trying to call single moms whores? Besides it's not like she couldn't take care of the little bastard, you know being richer than God and all.

Money = Financial Support.

Vegeta was savage murderer probably responsible for countless genocides around the universe and yet somehow he was around for his kids more than Son Goku! He was even willing to take Trunks to park and he actually listens to his daughter. I wouldn't be surprised he treated Bra like the Princess of the whole Galaxy.

And the Son's? Jesus fuck where do I even start. Goku's a giant man child, I love him as character I truly do but he is not father material and he proves it ever so often. Evil lab roach threatening to destroy the world? Why let Gohan fight him despite that he's fucking 12 and doesn't even like fighting! Don't have money to support your family, why lets ask Mr. Satan for money because its okay to leech off of others and not earn your own keep. Have a responsibility to raise your own damn kids, why raise a dirt poor Indian boy for several years instead. Fuck family values! Training is less boring! And I got nothing Chichi other than the fact that she smothers her children.

Let's face it logically the Son's are a terrible, terrible family. They make the Briefs look like The Partridge Family.

That's the best way to put it. There's no problems between any of the others. ChiChi loves her sons and her extended family in Videl. Gohan obviously loves Videl, and vise versa. Mark does do a good job in at least warming up to them later on.

Because taking one's newborn bastard son to a battlefield for spectating is the epitome of good parenting. Especially when the baby daddy could care less what happens to them. It takes Vegeta nearly a decade to give his son a hug, and then he explodes.

Dragon Ball is just full of family values.

Worst family? I'm voting for the Son family. Krillin's family never really did enough to warrant either praise or criticism. And as for the Briefs, Raki aptly summed up their awesomeness:

Huh... so you haven't seen much of anything before Radditz? If you do ever get around to watching the original series, I'm curious to see what you'll think of Goku. For all the stupid crap he does after returning from Yardrat, I think he's completely uncontroversial as a child. He's so cute and likable.
