In the anime it implies that he used it in such quick bursts that the aura was only visible when looking back at it in slow motion. But this isn't in the manga at all.

btw where is it stated that Chaoz's powerlevel raises slower than other human fighters. This statement was said in one of the tenkaichi games, I don't remember the number of the game, but where did it get that idea of Chaoz's slow growing power level, is it said in the manga?

I was probably engaged in a talk about the whether the series should have been handed over to Gohan at the time of making that, or just before.

I always did find it weird that Goku used kaioken to increase his power when really without it he wasn't much better then the rest of his friends, but I never thought he was weaker either. Against Nappa and Vegeta I think his base power was still over everyone else save for Vegeta. And by late Namek I would still think he's stronger then Gohan when he's not all in a rage. Lol he's the main character, maybe we're just meant to believe even without kaioken he's still stronger then Vegeta and maybe even Piccolo without kaioken just after being in that rejuvenation chamber. But that's a tall order to swallow and I don't follow power levels or anything. On a side note I love all the Chaozu inserts, If only now Brolli was in the manga just so Chaozu could fight him and take him down.

I think it's pretty clear that that's what happened (obviously, given the joke). After Goku's healed, Goku is stronger than Vegeta who's stronger than Piccolo.

Which is complete bullshit.

Vegeta starts in the couple hundred thousands, gets a gigantic fucking hole blown through him, and then nearly bleeds to death before being healed.

Goku, starting at 90,000, gets a few little scuffs and winds up over a million points higher than Vegeta.
