You haven't devoted yourself long enough to continuous analysis of Dragon Box vs. Orange Brick comparison stills.

You will learn; give it time.

But they're blurry and have less detail. Although that doesn't apply to 6-9. They released with those that the grain is part of the picture and that DVNR = bad.
I thought 6 was the worst? I can't really remember watching it, but a few screenshots from it look horrendous, it's too fucking bright and the colour looks sooooooooooooooo wrong.

To be fair, that's a crappy PowerDVD cap. Here's the vlc .png:

Actually, Season 6 was the start of the darker colors.

Why is that dbox shot of Goku not 4:3?

Was there some sort of tampering going on here?

It's 720x480. The resizing algorithms are probably bad.

It's not been resized at all. 720x480 is the native resolution of an NTSC DVD, whether it's 4:3 or 16:9.

After i uploaded it, the majority of comments were saying that they liked the remastered box set quality better.
But... When was the last time youtube comments made any sense? There are holocaust videos on there with 95% of comments saying the damn thing never happened.

We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

Wait, when has the marketing EVER acknowledged Dragon Ball as having ANYTHING to do with martial arts?

What does that mean? If the image is 4:3, it still stretches to a 16:9 image unless specifically set to do otherwise?

Only Season 2 is really that bad. 3, 4, and 5 are decent, and then 6 is when it gets good.

I went back to watch some of the the "bricks" again, and when I paused I noticed some of the problems but while I was watching with no interruption nothing seemed to faze me, and it was only during the freeza saga that it was really noticeable.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?
