I guess that a cute little way to entertain the kids but what the hell, they are going to get these kids beat up! I did multiple forms of martial arts including:Kick boxing, Karate and a bit of Judo and NEVER! have I seen someone punch like that...nor would you ever stand legs open facing your opponent with your hands that close to your chest and face.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

That Oozaru Goku looks like one regular Gorilla suit that's been upgraded. Y'know, from the early c-horror movies where a "monster", usually a man in a gorilla suit, breaks havoc and kills people.
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

So has anyone bought this? DVD or Blu Ray? I want to get it on Blu Ray but every time I make up my mind to buy it, I remember how boring this movie was...and now apparently the extra's are boring too...It'd still be nice to have for novelty right?

I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

Rented it from redbox today. DBE is not the worst thing on the disc, Goku's Workout is. Bloody hell...

I'll probably pick up the blu-ray after I get paid this Friday or next week.

Been way too busy to muster up the energy to go into a store or even order online. :x

Yeah that's really what's keeping me on the fence about buying this. I was hoping the extra's would make it worth it but they really aren't selling it. Also if you're reading this Mike I was wondering if you were planning on buying this or not and if so will there be a podcast about it (or mention of it at least) or have you had enough DBE for one lifetime?

Remember? He said on the podcast they were going to do a commentary track for it. :P

I think it was meant more as a workout than an actual self defense form. Y'know, like Cardio Kickboxing or P90X Kempo as opposed to the real version of either.

My bad! I haven't heard that one yet. I've fallen behind in the podcast and I'm still trying to catch up! In other news, I caved in and bought it on Blu-Ray. It looks pretty good. After viewing it again I gotta say it's not so bad. It's easily better than Chun-Li. At this point I'd give it a 6 out of 10. If they had better/longer action scenes and explained stuff a bit more and tightened up the plot a bit it could have easily been a 7.5 or so...but that's just my opinion. I think it's a nice thing to own just for the novelty and for shits a giggles. Also you guys should try and show this to people who don't know much about Dragon Ball. I watched it tonight with 7 other people like that and they didn't think it was all to terrible either. Just something interesting to experiment with....

Just to spite the nay sayer who said I was very bad for not seeing it in theaters, but online. I bought the movie not only on Blu-ray, but on DVD. It still won't change the fact though, it's a bad movie.

Apparently the movie is either selling well, or my Best Buy hasn't restocked. Went to get it about an hour ago, and only saw Bue-rays. Even by the signs for the dvds there was nothing.

Maybe they're recalling it to remove Goku's Workout?

Can I just ask is it worth me getting the DVD? It looks good because of the extra's but in all the film was bad.

I would like to watch it again just in case they added some more scenes.

From what I saw last night only two copies remained on blu-ray at my wal mart. Also I lost 50 cents trying to play that stupid DBZ crain game.

No scenes were added beyond what was in North American theatres and the sample DVD some folks acquired a couple months back. Oh yeah. Apparently my roommate thought it'd be a good idea to buy me Evolution's DVD (without me ever acknowledging interest in it) as a way of paying me back $30 he owed. So... here I hold the DVD in my hands. I didn't buy it, I didn't rent it, I didn't and don't want it. God help me. @_@;;

I hate when people do that.

"Hey, I owe you money, but rather than give you cash which can be used in any way you need I'll give you something you didn't ask for and call it an end to my debt. Now bend over so I can put it in you."

Went to Wal-Mart today to pick it up. There were 4 sections of the shelves that help DBE copies and two of the sections were gone. Maybe this thing is selling well. Who know? Maybe DVD sales will pay for the sequel?

But I think its an okay movie and entertaining, but its a horrible adaptation and pisses me off. Even more so after watching the deleted scenes! They should have kept them in. Wouldn't save the movie from getting any better, but would have made it a bit longer (it was too short for me). Gohan teaching Goku about ki, Goku lifting the car to get his bike and showing his strength, and Roshi explaining the Piccolo offspring thingys to Goku seems pretty important to me. Why did they even cut out what they did?

Still pissed there was no scene made explaining Piccolos revival and extended final battle.

I'm so jealous right now, Our release in the UK isn't until the beginning of September! :( I didn't think it was a bad movie, Okay lot's of inconsistancies but it could have been worse. It's not fair you get is so soon before us! I'm so overwhelmed with jealously.

For us here in the Netherlands the release date still seems to be unknown.
I'm not jealous, though. XD
