Okay, me and my mom are n00bs at this - when you pre-order, do they charge your debit or checking account now or do they wait later? I'm confused and I think my mom is causing me to be confused in the first place

If you live within the US, Amazon will ship orders over $25 for free, I live in Australia, and I'm only paying $8 US for international shipping, and it usually turns up between a week and a half and two weeks (after release date of course).

Well, now we know for a fact that it's in the general price area we all thought it would be. $50-$60.

Now, I'm going to wait until other places put up their pre-orders, and then amazon lowers their pre-order price like they traditionally tend to.

And then I'll give Funimation my money for the first time since Movie 13 and the First Strike box came out.

What's that, 3 years?

So yeah. This is awesome. It's like it's slowly coming to fruition, and it isn't just some sick joke Funimation is playing lol. Somebody pinch me!

I already pre-ordered my copy on Amazon due because from what I have seen between the Rightstuf & Amazon in their pre-order prices. Plus I don't have a Got Anime? memebership and its no different if I don't use the ground shipping which is very slow, where I live takes from two to three weeks.

Well, just in case I can still cancel my order if it suits me better to pre-order on RighStuf. Also, Amazon as the pre-order price guarantee which may be of help in the long run but I'm not hoping on it.

I believe, for cards, you get charged once they ship 'er on out t'ya.

Uhh... I just ordered 2 posters for $.89 and $7.99 respectively. Plus Ranma 1/2 Season 5 for $20. After I checked out, it says the shipping costs $15. I don't know. I went back and checked my orders, the shippings for each item are $7.99, $4.99, and $2.98.

I realized just now that the shipping cost for each item are combined.

I did check out all item at same time so I thought all are one order.

Yes. I feel like an idiot now.

I have pre-ordered from them before and they don't charge your credit card until it actually ships.

Can't really say about items that are in stock due to Amazon's speedy shipment scheadule but for certain that's how it works when I pre-order.
