I also noticed that Dead Zone is coming out again. I wonder if it'll be the DBox version.

Obligatory "I just pre-ordered it too" post. You know, outside of a couple of videogames, this is the first DBZ item I've actually bought IIRC (though I've also just ordered two of the Daizenshuu and was going to order those two new Japanese guides until I saw the Amazon.co.jp shipping price). It always seemed like too much of an investment before - the real killer being that it always felt like something bigger and better was right around the corner. I don't think it can get much bigger and better than this, so I'm happy to part with my cash.

They may just be putting them out the same way they are doing trunks and bardock right now but let us hope for the best

Or an individual release of the double features, like the tv specials?

Edit: Beaten to the punch by dragonpiece!

Woah, it comes out the same day as the DBox. This is odd...
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I thought about that, too. However, the DBox and Dead Zone come out on the same day and FUNimation does have the DBZ DBox Movies.

This release seem to be pretty pointless at this stage in the game considering they will be releasing then in Dbox edition a few years down the road.

Edit: To Kendamu, knowing Funimation like we do if that were the case they would advertise this very heavily.

Oh wait guys did funimation say they got the specials? I mean if they didn't this could mean that they only released those specials to go along with the dbox movies. What do you guys think?

They said they got the episodes and the movies. Nothing was said about the specials.

My god that is so fucking pointless.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

If it's the DBox version, then it won't be so pointless.

If that's supposed to be the Dragonbox version of Dead Zone... then dammit, I guess I'm on my way to my own Dead Zone collection. I have the Pioneer release (single), Pioneer Box, and the First Strike Box. :?

Hopefully it's just the remastered crapola. I'm not sure I want to buy each movie individually. In fact, three more single movies, and I would have the original 13 single movie releases. No more singles, me want boxies. Dammit.

I'm not buying all the movies in singles again, even if they are Dragonbox footage. I might buy my favorites but not all them again.
