I've seen pre-order prices go through the day of release, and typically will stay that way even AFTER release...

Hopefully that's the case with this because I'm still not sure when I should pre-order. Money is tight, but I may still pre-order this one early.

My brain hurts.
Gohan: At least he doesn't have his sword out anymore.
Kuririn: Yeah, and your dad put his finger away too.

I'm waiting until I get all my accounts changed over to my new address before I order or pre-order anything, but I do have it sitting in my cart on Amazon.

I'm still being stubborn and waiting for RightStuf to put out their Funi preorders.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I can still cancel the pre-order without charging me, right?

Amazon never charges until they ship. The same goes for pricing. If you pre-order now, you will be guaranteed the price, unless it drops and then you will get the lower. But, if the prices raises again, you will keep the lowest price if you have it pre-ordered. Got to love their system!

Amazon Prime, I'm getting overnight for only 3.99! w00t! If anyone orders constantly from Amazon, Prime is a necessity! The 80 USD is well worth it for free 2-day and 3.99 Overnight!

There's a free trial for Amazon Prime. I never used it before. Dunno what it's for.

I have :D but might cancel it if the Rightstuf listing is at a better value. To Krakabeast, Amazon keeps taking pre-orders up until the day of release. That's at least how it always have been for the products that I normally pre-order from them.

I might do that as well. I also discovered that I'm moving as soon as next week, so I'll have to wait for my mom to change all of her debit card and bank account info.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Cool! I think I’ll pre-order mine from Amazon because I don’t know if Rightstuf ships to the UK.

I would suggest you use it, this way you will get (I think 3 months) to use Amazon Prime and be able to get Free 2-Day shipping or 3.99 Overnight for any item sold by Amazon you also get an additional 5-10% discount off many items. I'm getting the d-box set for 48.99. Its' well worth, and even when your trial runs out, you will keep all the items you pre-ordered with the shipping you chose at checkout. Lets say you pre-ordered the DBox set with overnight for 3.99. Well, your trial would have run out by then, but, you will keep the 3.99 overnight shipping!

I don't think I'll pre-order, especially not now. I want to wait for some more details. I doubt Funi will screw this up, but by now it's impossible for me to have that much faith in a Funimation Dragon Ball product. I need some sort of trusted third-party dissection before I can feel secure enough to place an order.

You can cancel at the click of a button and you don't even need to give a reason (although you can if you want). It's a 100% risk free thing.

Yes, but if you pre-order it, odds are by the time you have third party dissection it will already have been shipped.

Anyway, does anyone have any idea how much shipping is for an item like this to Australia?

I'm waiting for the Right Stuff to get it.
Not only will they have a preorder price that's close-ish to what we see on Amazon right now, but they have big FUNimation Sales every now and then, and when next they do I get ANOTHER 30% off of the DVD set, AND since it's Right Stuff, I get the DVD a few weeks before official street date.

Looks like DBZ Movie 2 has a Nov. 10th release as well!

---------

Weird thing is... DBGT Season 2 is coming out again in November? I think this is a mess-up and it's supposed to be Dragonball Season 2.

This keeps reeking more and more of remastered single re-releases just like the Trunks and Bardock specials...
