Yeah, size is probably going to be a problem now that I look at it. They're usually 100kb at least, and that's the short ones (like 30 frames or so). I guess that's just how MSGif works.

Well, the site doesn't seem to actually impose a limit, but I know there's a suggested limit. Not sure how mandatory it is to follow that...

Guess it's a toss between whether you want to be kind to those with slower connections or just forget about them and have a flashy avatar.

I've figured out a way to lower the file size a little bit without (I think) much of a dip in quality. I'll remake the ones I've done so far and see how it turns out.

EDIT: I'll edit this post to repost all the ones I've done so far with smaller file sizes, although they're still quite big.

How did you do it? Did you manually edit out the "excess" frames?

Oh wait... also, does using "Solid" colors lower the size by a lot or something?

No, I changed the dithering method. It was "Error Diffusion", but that results in the largest file size. "Pattern" or "Solid" give smaller file sizes, Solid being the smallest, although Solid does mess with the colour more.

Those two same Vegeta ones are example of Solid and Pattern dithering, and you can see that the solid one looks worse. But then the Goku ones use solid as well, and look good enough.

Nah, it's just a bug of some kind. With MSGif, the lower the number the faster it is, and that one's set to 1. To compare, all the others are set to 2 or 3.
