What are you talking about? Dragon Box Movies haven't appeared yet anywhere, it's still most likely that we're getting a box set.

But we keep seeing singles pop up, I'm just doubting, my appologies.

Well, just based on the prices of those singles, I seriously doubt they are Dragon Box masters. And, like many have said before, they would surely be advertising the quality like crazy if they were DBox masters.

Yeah, but we also saw single releases of the TV specials pop up in a similar fashion a few months back... At the same price point.

And while it would be a nice gesture for FUNi to give us the DragonBox movies for $10 a pop, I don't see it happening, especially not without any sort of advertisement or indication of us getting the new footage on these releases. I'm almost 100% confident that these are just re-releases of the "Double Features," unless the Amazon listing name changes, or something. FUNi would let us know if we were getting DragonBox footage. They aren't going to just let it out into the wild and have us find it as an Easter egg.

I'll concede that it is a bit odd that they're getting a release on the same day as the first DragonBox, though... But that's just how FUNi releases things, I suppose. I think we'll hear about a Movies DragonBox (or releases of the footage) after they finish out these singles for the Double Features (Which, in all honesty, seem like a pointless release, since I've gotten all of my Double Feature sets for around $10, give or take a buck).

I guess FUNimation's retarted releases will continue (single versions of double features?!?), even with the announcement/release of the Dragonboxes.

I really hope they release the DragonBox movies as, you know, a box set.

Create retarded releases, and the retards are sure to follow. FUNi know this...that's why they're so good at making money out of nothing. :P

I'm hoping we'll get single releases all the way through, and then a box set.

Though I wonder if these will sell enough on their own to warrant that...

I wonder if they're going to release the movies separately throughout the course of the Dragon Box releases. It would be nice if the final one (movie 13) comes with a large box for all of them to go into, but I seriously doubt they'd be that considerate.

Either way, I've cancelled my pre-order of movie #1 until more info comes out.

This may be Funimation trying to put new movie singles in the market.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Did anyone actually realistically expect the steelbooks to be the final DBZ movie releases?

No, to be honest, I wouldn't be suprised after Funi releases all the DBOX masters, they will re-re-re-re-re-release the series in individual sets, then have classic episodes, then have a new amazing some how DBZ in 3D. But by that time I'm sure everything will be Kai.

But don't forget that Kai has left plenty of errors in and generally has pretty lacklustre voice acting. There's a lot of stuff to "justify" a further Kai-like rehash of the series further down the line.

Quick question. Does anyone know how large these are compared to a normal DVD case?

In the announcement video, the mock-up didn't look any larger than a regular DVD case. If I had to guess, I'd say one of the Season bricks inside of a hard case (like the First Strike box, or Saiyaman Saga I think it was).

Awesome. Also, I went ahead and suggested to Amazon that their listing should be changed to Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box One and provided the Dragon Box trailer as evidence to that title being appropriate. You guys should do the same.

People are saying that the new movie releases can't be Dragon Box transfers cause they're so cheap?

10 bucks * 13 movies is 130 dollars.

Assuming they released one DBox set for the movies at the 80 dollar price point, they'd be making more money doing singles at 10 bucks.

I just find it odd that they'd put out their own transfers after announcing they have the Dbox transfers for these films.

Hello All. I was wondering if the new Dragonbox release will re-dub the original season 3 portion of the show for Goku and Frieza. I thought it was annoying how the quality of Goku's voice (English) went from 5 Stars to 1 star as soon as he landed on Namek.

Also will they change the music they put in the dragonball remastered released before the Bruce Falconer stuff?

Whee, got it pre ordered. :D

As for a redub, I would severely doubt it.

FUNi will lose the license before that happens.

I doubt it. With the default audio option being Japanese with English subtitles on these discs and with how much emphasis they put on "BTW: It's in 4:3," at Otakon, it really shows who the target audience is here. Sure, there are people who enjoy FUNimation's version of DBZ who will buy this, but I don't see anyone putting any new effort into the English audio just for this... specially considering that they couldn't even get everyone back to re-record their lines in the release that used "revised English audio" as a selling point.

If you watch the Dragon Box in English, be prepared for a Season 3 with "head cold" Goku and "I wanna caress your lovely balls, big boy (no homo)" Freeza.
