DBGT Evil Dragons Based On Chinese Legend?

I remember seeing a topic here about how the ending of GT, and some of the Shadow Dragons Arc, was based on a Chinese legend. Does anyone know what the name of that topic was? Or the name of the legend it was based on?

The title of this thread is pretty broad; at first I thought you were talking about the rumors of where Goku went/what he became at the end of GT.

Yeah, this seems very GT. GT would pull off something like this, so I'd say TOEI did base the ending on this legend.

Seems pretty fitting, considering the story started out based on a Chinese legend.

I really like the idea of the ending being based on a Chinese legend for the same reason as Bussani.
