how did you resize them without making them look to distorted? I tried altering one using a Daizenshuu image but it looked terrible.Amigo Ten wrote:Here's the pictures I used:

I'm assuming you used MS Paint correct? Use Macromedia Fireworks to edit your image instead, it doesn't distort it.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:

Guys, you really have no idea how easy this is to do yourself. Seriously, I mastered it in about 5 minutes with no directions.
You've got everything you need as far as images go right here.
http://www.kanzentai.com
And for the programs you can do it all in Paint, which everyone has, with minimal effort. Besides, wouldn't it be more fun to make one yourself rather than just, ya know... copying what somebody else did?

Made the Dragon Box Z styled one, now I've made a Dragon Box styled theme.

I'll make it available to use once I work out a few art edits...
Damn, the frames are really hard to see in the corners of the browser header, guess that's one thing to fix.
CLOSE UP

As for personas, I might try to upload some of them. I'll have to remake them though because they ask for larger dimensions. They also ask you not to use artwork subject to copyright law unless you the right to use it. But I don't think that'll be a problem...

Argh, can't deal with Personas. The way it works is too general. I make the headers and footers to match my browser size and layout. There's no guarantee that the layout will work with personas, and the image size is too big to see most of the picture. Seems like it'd only work well with patterns and stuff.

Left the footer massive on that one for some reason. It'll show properly if you position it right.

When I started seeing these DB themes linked in the "Show Off Your Crap" section, I just had to start making my own. While the kanzenban images are darn purdy, I actually went another route and went through MrAnnouncerGuy's very awesome DB gallery.
Here's my current one and here's one I just made for the heck of it. For some reason, making the image to match the dimensions of your toolbar don't work, so I had to make it keeping in mind just exactly where it would cut off. I also wasn't sure that I wanted the colors to be at 100%, so I made things a little transparent.

Hmm, I always make my headers 1280x114, because that's the maximum size my tool/menu bar takes up. Footers I make 1280xanything really, because ctrl+f and download status bar make it larger, and if the image can still cover that I'll do it.
For example it can be: http://i32.tinypic.com/2i06eya.png
Or: http://i25.tinypic.com/2r59bsy.png

So, I'm getting into the AnyColor thing kinda late, but some of these are just damn impressive.
The Time Traveller, your themes are frakkin' amazing. I can't wait to see what else you come up with (like the WIP Dragon Box theme).
Amigo Ten, your Freeza theme is excellent as well. It's the one I think I'm going to be using for now.
Keep up the excellent work, you guys! And thanks for sharing so that we all can have our browsers looking as cool as yours.

That reminds me, here's my DB Dragon Box skin.
Header: http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h256/ ... XSKIN2.png
Footer: NO FOOTER!!!
Background Color: #A31A1A
Highlight Color: #ff7a14
Text Color: #ffffff
Before you turn it on (or after, what ever) right click your browser above the address bar and click on "Customize...", look for something called "Space", and drag ir 3 times in front of File, then once in front of Back, then 4 times in front of your bookmarks toolbar, it'll push out your options and you'll be able to see the skin in a better way, enjoy.
So it looks like this: http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h256/ ... onBox2.jpg
