You know, this set should cover up to sixty-eight. That's only make the set thirty-six episodes. Hardly something hard to do...

If FUNimation subsequently releases the Dragon Box sets for Dragon Ball, whoever makes the decisions over there needs to be kicked in the face. It would prove that regardless of having prior knowledge of the possibility of localizing the sets, they release these anyway.

At least it's not in widescreen...

I'm excited and surprised by the quick release date. Makes me wonder if they're not going to do the DB season bricks ASAP so they can announce Dragon Boxes for the original series before too long.

Agreed. Funimation actually starts trying to put out good DB releases, but you never know when they might throw out an even better product a.k.a. the Dragon Ball DBox.

Hey guys, I don't know if I'm allowed to ask it in this thread, but on Kanzentai I read that the first season has the Dragonbox masters. Why don't they release all the Dragonball seasons in Dragonbox masters then?

You must've read it wrong. It's only the first volume of Dragon Ball Z that has the Dragon Box footage. The Dragon Ball "seasons" are all the same old stuff we had before.

This could mean that these seasons will be finished within 1 year.

Meaning they might have DB movies and special sooner.

And GT Dragonbox boxset could be released after that point.

Then Dragonball Dragonbox boxset after that.
