Really? So what if they cut off Goku's lower body on the box? If you remember, the last time they released DBZ they cut off Goku's body in the actual episodes!

This release ain't perfect, so I'm not buying it. I'm emailing FUNi to let them know, and am also requesting for my favorite cigars to be bundled within the Dbox.

Maybe it's because they said the boxes would be closer to the size of an actual DVD as opposed to the book sized Japanese Dragon Boxes. And if that's the case, if they kept the same proportions, Goku and Gohan would only cover two or three boxes.

That's what I just said. If they shrink it, it won't cover the entire set. And they DID crop it. If they cropped any more off of the top then Goku's face would be missing. You really don't have a valid complaint here.

But they do. Defending their cropped footage and incorrect dub and such.

Okay, let's not get into that. If you think I'm complaining about a freaking spine image, you're definitely wrong. I'm nitpicking. It's absolutely not a big deal, and I'm pretty sure there's nothing FUNimation could do short of cancelling the release that could make me hate them at this point.

Oh, I see.

But did they have to zoom in that much? I mean, can't they keep the image the same as how it was on the original Dbox spines and just crop out the legs instead of half of their body? As far as I know, the boxes the Dboxes were in aren't that much larger than stardard DVD cases.

It's not that big a deal. I'm just curious >_>

Uhm. They have access to the art itself and can probably put it on the boxes at whatever size they want. Just look at US DBox 1 and JPN DBox 1. More of Goku's left arm is showing on US DBox 1 than JPN DBox 1. That means that they actually have the real art itself and they're not just ripping things off of JPN DBoxes and trying to fit them onto the US DBoxes. So, feel free to not freak out about spine images and such.

However, nitpicking is okay!
