Like I said, they could arrange the character menu better, but I don't see why anything more than that is needed. And frankly, they are different characters, so why not include them as such?Innagadadavida wrote:Remember the "3 C's" (that I just made up). Clutter, confusion, and character count. Multiple slots are messy. I can see separating adults from their child form, but anything beyond that is overkill. All those characters can be confusing to noobie players and people who aren't familiar with the whole series. Also, NB cant claim "OMG 148 CHARACTERS, KIDZ!" and mislead us into thinking there are more than there really is.
Infinite stages wouldn't add anything for me. Especially looping. How would it be pointless?
Like I said there would need to be adjustments, but no walls would really make the game feel massive. Can you imagine how cool it would be to start a fight in a forest and end it in a desert with no memory of when the change occurred?
I'm just saying, the developers could place a limit of space between characters. They could add a "sensing" feature or "scouter" feature.
Also the infinitely repeating stages has been done before in a 2D Dreamcast DBZ game. It was also used in Infinite World on the adventure levels. It wasn't noticeable either.
I want new/improved gameplay elements. Walls aren't one of the things that need changing. Making the levels bigger vertically is something I'd like (not sure if that's happened), but not infinite. It just seems like one of those unnecessary things they'd throw in when they run out of ideas for improving the combat. One thing I could see them doing is the old Mortal Kombat type method of knocking someone through a wall into another arena with a little cutscene.I'm really surprised at how people are so against new ideas for DBZ games. It just looks like all some people want are new characters and stages... That would be boring. See, this is why we can't have nice things.

That could be intresting. Such as if you are battling on Kami's lookout and you knock someone downward, instead of hitting a wall, ending up in a mountain or plain?Amigo Ten wrote:One thing I could see them doing is the old Mortal Kombat type method of knocking someone through a wall into another arena with a little cutscene.
"Goku's power level is 20,567 and doubles when he turns SSJ. Vegeta's power level is 18,890 and also doubles when he turns SSJ. What is the difference of their power level if they both fight in their SSJ forms?"
Dragonball makes math fun!

I mean they'd still have the lower limit like normal, but if you hit knocked someone into it there'd be a little scene of them flying down and crashing, and then you'd be fighting in a ground arena.Shenron204 wrote:That could be intresting. Or you could be on the random islands stage, fighting near the wall. Knock someone into it and there's a little scene of them zooming back and crashing into the water, and then you're in the Kame House map. That kind of thing I could see them doing before doing looping or streaming maps.

The cover art for the game looks fine, but I agree that it's odd to only have Goku and Broli there.
Also, there's a nice trailer for the game over at gametrailers showing more insane stuff.
I think the biggest and best thing about this game is the fact there will be online. I mean, if that wasn't implemented at all, I think I'd be very upset. It's cool that some of the psecial moves that were in Tenkaichi 3 are in the game, but it would've been even better to have new animatedversions of them.
