I wonder what the else the limited edition has.Innagadadavida wrote:That's probably the secret code they're releasing with the special editions. It's a code that allows you to unlock SS3 Broly at the beginning.ShinRogafuken wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZnkVVN1DYo
Look at the end. What does it say with the SSJ3 Broly after it?
DragonBall: Raging Blast (PS3/360)
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I mean, the city backdrop looks nice, but I keep wondering if they're saving some secret, amazing jaw-dropping feature and planning on revealing it in the coming months or what.

Wait for the Tokyo Game Show. I doubt they have anything up their sleeve but if they did they would reveal it in Dragonballs home country. However in most cases they reveal the major selling points first hand to get you to want to play the game. Hence SSJ3 Broly. I'm sure there were a lot of people going "OMG NOW I HAVE TO GET THIS GAME!!"Chuquita wrote:I still feel like I'm waiting for the hook.

Why would they bother, its basically a standard feature at this point.Rory wrote:Anybody noticed that there hasn't been a single beam struggle in any video yet?

Well, we all thought so with the Budokai series, but along comes Infinite World and it's no longer a standard feature.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:Why would they bother, its basically a standard feature at this point.Rory wrote:Anybody noticed that there hasn't been a single beam struggle in any video yet?
We're just concerned, that's all.

Infinite Worlds was just a quick cash in I don't think there was any time put into that game. "Same character models as B3, change the story mode a bit, swap a few characters around make it look like we added stuff, call it the last DB game for the PS2 and BAM! we are gold struck."Haseowolf wrote:

Still, they REMOVED the beam struggles, it's not like it would've cost money to keep it.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:Infinite Worlds was just a quick cash in I don't think there was any time put into that game. I've read that the maps will be huge compared to previous games, but in every video I see the characters are hitting the border of the damn map. Sorry to be a downer, but I have a feeling that this game will suck.
Gohan: At least he doesn't have his sword out anymore.
Kuririn: Yeah, and your dad put his finger away too.

If they already had to take the gameplay from Budokai 3 (because Infinite World is an extension of that engine), then why would it cost less to remove it? Leaving it in would cost nothing, because it's made, done, complete. Removing would require the effort to go in and manually remove it?SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:yea but it cost LESS to take it out.(see where I'm getting at).Rory wrote:Still, they REMOVED the beam struggles, it's not like it would've cost money to keep it.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote: Infinite Worlds was just a quick cash in I don't think there was any time put into that game. My thoughts exactly. Raging Blast must have something completely new and original, but at the moment things are looking bleak.Krakabeast wrote:I've read that the maps will be huge compared to previous games, but in every video I see the characters are hitting the border of the damn map. Most fans will probably buy the game because of the addition of SSJ3 Brolly and most likely Neko Majin Z.
For it to truly stand out it and be on par with the likes of the most popular beat-em ups it has to become more technical rather than bombarding or spamming your opponent with ki-attacks.

Kind of sort of not really. Ok, they made a new game. It cost money to script the game, copy and paste the character designs and levels, they changed the interface, took out some features add some new features(just a little). By taking out things like beam struggles and addition game modes they cut production costs. They keep the look of B3 call it the last PS2 game and they all ready have a few million copies sold(just on those 2 factors) so why put more money in? so less product cost=more profit gain. It wasn't a serious game it was just a cash in just to get a few extra bucks along side of Burst Limit.

Um, they did add stuff, and remove stuff such as the beam struggles. All of the characters had their combos completely redone as well. You didn't really prove anything with that last statement...SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:Infinite Worlds was just a quick cash in I don't think there was any time put into that game.
