Pulling a Yamucha / Tenshinhan / Piccolo / Vegeta...

We all know that 1st generation warriors in DBZ are all bad guys turned good guys.

So if another villain decided to have this signature change of heart, who would you have liked it to be?

For me, the Ginyu's would just bring so many lols into the Android and Buu arcs. So I'd go with them

16, he really looked like he was going to be part of the cast for awhile.

That's right, I really missed 16 after his destruction and was really dissapointed that this person can't be revived.....

Well, #16 had already turned good by the Cell Games, but it would've been good to see him stay on as one of the Z-Fighters. I wish he'd been revived.

Then there's Cell. A character as strong as he was with his advanced regenerative traits would've made himself useful fighting Boo.

Ginyu Special Force, which has already been mentioned...

Dabura...Babidi...well, there are a lot of villains that would've been quite useful if they had turned to the Good Side. Now what if the good characters turned to the Dark Side...? (now makes thread)

#17 would've been a fantastic hero, I'd have loved to have seen him more in the Boo arc ('cause we see a tiny little glimpse at the end).

Majin Buu. Not the fat one, not the kid one, not the old one, and certainly not Uub but the tall one. I liked him a lot more than any of his other forms. He was just so hilarious to me I really would liked it if he stuck around. Yeah he's kinda threatening, evil looking, and killed millions of people but who didn't!

#17 and #18 would be a possibility because when they were fighting the Z-fighters, they could have killed them but they didn't, which shows there heart isn't "pure evil". They also didn't harm anyone unnecceseraly. #16 definetly because he already decided to become a Good Guy before the Cell Games started. Nova Shenron is another possability because he became friends with Goku before he was killed and he was on his side.

I've officially played too much Supersonic Warriors 2...

But, I'd have to say Broly. Yes, yes I know he's movie only but the whole Mr. Satan tamed him thing in SSW2 would have made a great movie in and of itself, and certainly would have made a better movie 11 then what was made. Imagine when all hell broke loose in Movie 12, that Broli was standing at the waiting for Paragus and some other movie villains. It would've been hilarious. Of course, it didn't happen that way so this is just a pipe dream.

In the series itself, I think the most interesting would be the Ginyu Tokusentai. If turned to good the Ginyu Tokusentai would be a hilarious sideshow to all that came after them.

The most LOGICAL in the show that didn't happen would be #17, as many people have said. Like his sister, he was just a pawn in Dr. Gero's game. He would definitely have made a nice main cast addition.

I suppose "major" disqualifies #8 and sorta kinda Grandpa Gohan... not that either did much after that.

There was room for RRA characters to switch sides, too. I guess the Ten > TaoPaipai > "Red: Please kill Goku for us...!" train works?

Broly would be an interesting addition, but I think he would've just become another Vegeta in the fact that he would've eventually been outdone by Goku and try to top him in power, only to eventually realize that Goku will "Always be number one". He would have some incredible fights though. Broly vs. Cell would've been an awesome fight.

Anyway, I will have to go with the consensus and say #17. #16 would've been pretty cool too, but I can only see him as a sideline character following the Android Arc.
