That's old news, it was announced in July. (I just posted all the release dates seeing as that we got the UK/EU one).

Looks like this is yet another time that I'll be playing the NA version rather than the EU version (unless we get the Japanese voices but NA doesn't). I tried playing the Japanese version and although I could play it relatively comfortably, my Japanese isn't so good that I could just wander around and relaxedly talk to the NPCs and fully understand what every single item did. I kind of had the feeling that I was missing lots of nuances, basically.

I don't know if anyone's said, but the game is a (so far) linear experience that has a world map which is just a picture of the world with points you can click on to visit them. The locations are drip fed to you and vary between fairly generic RPG locations (they really love their caves and other rocky areas) and somewhat small village areas. The battle system is pretty cool, though. It seems pretty archaic compared to turn-based martial arts battle systems like in SRW OG Sage: Endless Frontier, but it's still got some pretty nice things like how you can half the damage you take by correctly timing a press of a certain button.

The system I've heard hyped up a bit by which you use your techniques to solve puzzles is nothing more than pressing a button to blow up a rock with some sort of ki attack. Basically, the rocks are doors and the ki attack button is the open button. There's also a capsule system whereby you can equip two items to the bottom screen and the top one will give you an effect; either a field effect or a usually one-shot (per battle) battle effect. So there's a gas mask that you'll equip to walk through hazardous terrain and another item that will attempt to blind all the enemies at the start of each battle. You press one of the shoulder buttons to change which of the two equipped ones is currently active. You get more as you go on and if you visit the Capsule Corp building as soon as you get the chance, Bulma will upgrade it so you can have 3 equipped at once rather than 2 (only 1 in effect at a time, still).

Probably the best thing about it is just how polished it feels. It has a really nice, quality feel to it whereas the (still very enjoyable) Buu's Fury felt really cheap and almost home-made.

When I scanned through the Topic review, I noticed someone asking about importing it from Europe. You can try these places, the first one definitely delivers outside the UK:

Raging Blast comes out November 10th as well. I'll be getting that along with the Dragon Box.

The cover art for the European version of "Attack of the Saiyans" has been released! Hopefully the USA cover art is the same...

The cover's nice but the names kill me. Red and Yellow? Really? Sure it could be to go with the Dragonball Z logo but it just looks like bad word art to me.

I wish they had kept it DB Kai. I know it hasn't be licensed yet or dubbed so there is absolutely no reason for it but the giant blue KAI looks so nice compared to the DEEBEEZEE logo. As a matter of fact, the old logo just makes this boxart look very -ew- to me.

Yes! The American version will have the original cover art! It seemed like the image is zoomed out a bit...

On that note...have we ever seen a 'view' of what it looks like to Tien looking through his third eye?

A lot of his complaints were rather.. redundant. He doesn't seem to like the varied music.. or the fact that you should save a lot.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a given in most games?
