Post by dragonfist » Wed Sep 02, 2009 11:46 pm

Aside from the UUE, has there been a official release of the mexican dub on DVD and where can I find it?

Weren't FUNi doing an All-Spanish release of the UUEs?

Did they cancel that too?

Yup, it was canceled after "El Principe Saiyajin".

Only posibillity to get them, as far as I know is to D/L them from internet. There are lot of discussion boards where you can find them.......

PS: Is it bad to D/L thing which is impossible to purchase?!
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel
PS5: Dynamixx88
Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

well, i just watched in my local blockbuster a Season Boxset of the Saiyan Saga in Latin Spanish, but i dont know if its legit, and the irony here is, that Paramount did release versions of the Seasons sets Oragne bricks in form of singles, who contains the latin dub, the japanese dub, and the english dub with the japanese music.

and they were the faux remastered versions

but those were scrapped, and now i see a season set by another company, a local one, holy popo

The company/companies screwed the entire Spanish-speaking fanbase over by cutting you off after like 20 episodes, hell no it's not bad. What other option do you have if you want that language?

I see you are from Puerto Rico, but in Mexico is available a pack with 5 dvd's and 52 episodes, and this time all series will be released .

THESE ARE NOT FUNIMATION DVD's

We get FUNimation DVD's but sadly they don't longer carry the Mexican dub. That and the original Japanese audio were the only reason I was picking up the UUE before FUNi got the crazy idea to cancel them altogether. In Puerto Rico they used to broadcast the dub from Mexico back when I was a kid and didn't have cable. Some friend of mine told me they never finish the series stopping short of the Cell Games. Sad I won't be able to own this dub for nostalgic reasons  .

Those singles look kind of iffy, but that boxset looks legit! It even says it's Region 4 on the site to order it. Any of our Mexican friends care to chime in? Does anyone own this?

Legit, but with crappy video quality, dub only, but really cheap (33 dollars for 52 episodes):

Does the company that releases this series in Mexico have a website or something that I can see? I think there is one in the bottom of that pic of the back cover. Sorry to bother but I am very interested in this.

This is the site from the backcover:

Well, I was searching for screenshots and i found that the quality is REALLY poor...

Comparison with Funimation DVD's with mexican audio.
