I don't understand your point here. You think that we suddenly forgot everything FUNimation's done with Dragon Ball? You think the people on this forum will ever 'forget' what they've done with the franchise for over a decade? Wow, I really don't even know how to respond to that. Anyway, the Dragon Box is the one truly great thing FUNi has done for the show. Hence the praise for the release. This is the Dragon Box thread, you're not going to find a lot of discussion here about how awful everything else was. You have the whole rest of the forum for that.

I LOVE that they are putting out the Dragonbox, I dont know ANY Japanese so itll be good to see the books and all that to see what I've been missing.

I know most of you dont like it, BUT will the US music be a track as well? Since we get the Funi voice cast?

Didn't get an answer before so I decided to give it one more shot.

Does anyone know if the domestic dbox sets will come in the same dimensions as the Japanese dbox? which is 10 ¼ inches in height and 7 ½ inches in width. Hopefully they won't be packaged like the season sets.

They showed the Boxes at the 'press release' didnt they?

They are much taller than a usual DVD case, but I dont think we saw the inside as to how the DVDs are stacked in.

EDIT: Its definitely not that wide, since they are breaking it into 7 boxes instead of 2. I would have rathered the 2...but I guess that was too much to ask, and I really wouldnt have wanted to drop THAT much money at once.

If you look around on youtube, theres videos of 'Goku & ChiChi' holding and carrying the DragonBox, so you can reference the size that way.

you're right I completely forgot that they were releasing these in seven sets so of course the width will be different.

Only bad think I can see from 7 boxes, is the 'spine mural' gets cut off at Goku's waist.

What happens in episode 42 anyways? Since thats the last episode in Box 1.

Any idea what box art will be on the other 5 boxes? Or do they plan to have the same Goku pic on 3 of them then the other pis on the last 4?

It still IS big, compared to a regular DVD case and the season Bricks; but still isnt the HUGE boxes from the Japanese versions.

Thats the compromise I guess...we lose a bit of spine art...and we DONT have to pay thousands of dollars for the Boxes.

Sad little reference. But that seems like a big jump from raditz to already in space on the way to Namek.

On the OTHER side of the Box, will there be a mural pic of just like a dragonball each of the boxes?

The only confirmed Extras so far are "Trailers" and a 40-something page booklet...
