Work Study comic takes on Dragon Ball?

Hey all, a friend of mine runs a comic called Work Study. Normally I wouldn't post it here, but his newest comic involves a DBZ joke that I thought some of you might like.

So, he was gay because he's a DBZ fan? No wait... He saw a guy who looked like Trunks so his first instinct was to fuck him? No wait... His wang is a super saiyan and he wants to fuse it to.... I give up. This isn't funny.

Just looks like- "HURRR DBZ! HURRR GAY! LAUGH NAO."

Well this comic wasn't originally about DBZ, due to other issues it went that way. The joke is more on the Fusion concept then anything else.

I read it. The DBZ part was an afterthought? Okay, so that's supposed to make it funny then? It's still not funny.

Basically, it's not an insult to DBZ or it's fans.

She isn't going back to that guy because she found out he was gay.

I'm not offended, don't get me wrong. I'm saying that this comic isn't funny. The DBZ reference isn't funny and the fact that she's not going back to her ex-boyfriend because she found out he is gay isn't funny. Nothing about this comic is funny. Hell, the guy on the left looks like Ash from Pokemon and the guy on the right looks like Coby from One Piece. If the guy on the left had said "I wanted to touch his one piece, and he wanted to fondle my pokeballs," I would still stand by my statement that the comic isn't funny.

I don't mean to be an ass, I appreciate Dragon Ball fan-art and comics, I really do, but I just don't think this is very good. I'm sure the author of this comic has some good ones too, but this one is not one of them.

I think the artist would have killed us both (Clovis writes the thing, Jeff G draws it, and I'm friends with both of them hence why I posted it here >.>) if we made him edit this comic again. xD
