Besides the recent videos of the English version having Japanese voices, is there anything official listed anywhere that states what voice cast will be featured in the American version? If I can get this game in the US with Japanese voice cast, it'll be perfect! I can live with the US cast, but I'd rather have the Japanese cast and I'm not wanting to spend extra money on importing the game.

WOW, that has to be the lamest bonus ever. Honestly, Freeza would have made so much more sense...

He gave it an 8/10.
Also he gives away a huge spoiler. :? He says he isn't but he is.
Exactly what is it?

Edit: I saw what it is, and there is too much of this guy in DBZ games now.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I thought Tullece would've been the best choice for a hidden boss.

Also good. Even Garlic junior, or Dr. Wheello, or Slug. ALL ARE MORE ACCEPTABLE.

But none of their powers are maximum.

So... anyone else catch the "Legend of ShenLong" music in there from the NES game? It seems Mr. Yamamoto really can't do anything original. XD
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Aw man I was totally going to bring that up and it slipped my mind. I actually liked hearing a remake of that music (although it's some really obscure BGM to recycle.)

Think of it this way: he gets his ass beat down by Saiyan Saga level characters.

Seeing him appear this early in the series confuses me. o_O;;
Is his popularity really that huge?

Anyways, the review looked interesting; reminds me of those "Legacy of" games, only with fancier graphics. :3

The phrase "leveling up" tends to make me cringe because I just don't have the patience to grind like I did years and years back when I played pokemon--and even back then, most of the time I'd only do the bare minimum of grinding.

The game still looks really nice, and I'm more interested in it than Raging Blast, so I might get it. There were aspects of LoG that I enjoyed that I hope I might find here as well.

I really hope we have the option to pick the Japanese voice cast; its been SO long since I've seen the dub that I'd just rather play it with the original cast.
On hiatus.

I'm trying so hard to keep my palm from my face from this guy complaining about upbeat music in Dragon Ball. -__-

I love overworld landscapes in RPGs like this. Looks real good.

Oh, c'mon! That's like saying that hearing classic Super Mario music in a Super Mario game is a lack of originality as opposed to a nice throwback. XD

Well I don't know if I'd call "The Mystery of Shenlong" some sort of classic game that needs to be preserved in everybody's memories.

First song in the video review. Starting at about :45.

Oh, that song? I like that song!

That's not the only familiar song they used in this game, though.

It's not the exact music, but it really reminds me of this:
