Who Would You Play?

Out of curiosity, if anyone here could pick what character they could be in a live-action DBZ movie, who would you be? Myself, probably Piccolo since I'm close enough to his height.

Teen Gohan, probably. I have a gentle, friendly face, so I guess any of the three Sons would do, but Gohan had the most normal looking haircut, so I chose him. Maybe Trunks too, looking at the cover of volume 30... But the pre-Room of Spirit and Time one.

Man, number18 will have a really hard time answering this.

That's a really good question. If we're going by who we could realistically play, I think I would like to be Videl. I like her personality and she's strong and a really good fighter. I'd want a part where I got to fight too. And if not her then #18, for a lot of the same reasons. Plus I'd get to be an even more powerful fighter.^^

I'd love to be Kuririn. XD But since I'm more of a regular height I'll settle for Yamucha , it'd give me a chance to grow out my hair bwahahaha. XD (lest the make up folk give me a wig)

Not to mention free martial arts training. =D

if they could create a very realistic wig and if the one to play Goku was taller than me, it would be a nice choice (EVERYONE LOOK! I'M A SUPER SAIYA-JIN!!)

Mirai Trunks or Yamcha. I'm not tall enough to play Tenshinhan. If I let my hair grow back I could also play Android 17.

It just hit me that they could pull an LotR and make some people smaller or larger using CGI and forced perspective. XD

Hmm... first of all, I'd have to dye my hair. I have red, but Recoome's to tall and buff. Dye it... black and be prepaired to have it dyed yellow... perhaps Goten.

I don't think I could realistically play anybody. If you're trying to place me as an anime character, I'm a pale, weird and somewhat reclusive 15 year old with dark circles under my eyes and messy hair. There's plenty of those in anime, but I can't think of any off the top of my head in Dragonball.

If I'm proud of that description, does that mean there's something wrong with me? Hahaha...

I thought we already had a topic like this. Either I'm right, I have ESP, or I'm just insane.

I'd like to be either Teen Gohan or Goten. The Son family has a charm that I would love to try to bring to life. Y'know, if I condoned this sort of live-action madness.

I'd LIKE to play Mirai Trunks but I've got roo much of a gut for that (although I have the hieght easily). My hairs also brown so they'd have to change its color somehow. If put in the big suit and organizing and dying my hair right I could pull off an Android 16 realistically - again I've got the hieght

Spin: How much effort would you put into assuming your role? I.E.: rewatching eps + re-reading manga in order to research chara, gaining/losing a shit of weight, bodybuilding if your chara's a musclebound hulk, martial arts training if your chara's a fighter and you're a fanboy/girl wanting to be one, would you be willing to sit through hrs of makeup (or even sleep in costume in order to avoid it) if you were an alien chara, learn a whole other fake language if you were Namekkian, take acting classes/hire a tutor/partner, etc?

If I had the discipline to do all that, I'd be Cell. Else, Nappa since it involves the exact opposite of everything I just mentioned. All Nappa requires of me is that I shave my head and run around like a tall Krillin who took waaay too many growth hormones.

Ugh...I think I would be Son Goku, cause I'm tall, have a ripped body, am very lovable, not to mention humble. Well, actually I would be just another random guy. Like a Red Ribbon army soldier...or a spectator at a Tenkaichi Budoukai...or one of Gohan's classmates. I guess I wouldn't have to put much effort there...just acting normally would be fitting.
But I'd love to be a villain...like, Majin Buu. That would rock. For that I guess I'd have to either get really fat or get buffed up.

Ah but Dayspring, you'd still have to work out at the gym training 24/7 and using a proper eating regime to get that buffed and large. And even then, I think you'd still need the help of steroids, given that Nappa's so big, he needs his own zip code.

If you have to sorta look like the character already...I'd probably be Chi-Chi from the 23rd Budoukai. I liked her much better than her dbz counterpart.
I'm not tall enough to be Bulma and I'm not serious enough to be Juuhachigou or Videl.

Either Teen Gohan or Mirai Trunks. My hair is almost as long as Trunk's when he came out of the Time/Soul Room so I could play those scenes without any problem, and I wouldn't mind having my tied back hair break through the band when I transform.
