I'm convinced that DB Season 1 is just a joke the entire forum is playing on me. Didn't see it (or even an empty place where it could have been) at two Best Buys, or Target. I'll probably end up ordering it online.

No wonder I didn't see it in any Wal-Mart, damn thing ain't gonna be there till October. Oh well, not a big priority of mine right now. When I do buy it, it'll either be at Wal-Mart when they get it, or online. Either Overstock or Amazon.

I was really worried about mine, but it turned out my credit card BS was screwy, and I didn't get back to it in time, so they cancelled the order. The nice RightStuf man tacked it onto my DB Season Two order, though.

Should get it Wednesday.

Wasn't at Best Buy near my house either. So I picked it up at FYE. Was on sale, but still paid aa little less than $40 for it. (Curse Washington State's high sales tax).

So, I bought the DB Season Set two days ago. Overall, I'm extremely happy with it other than having English versions of the intro/ending songs as the defaults.

It's because we live in a nation that shuns the human body's sexual reproductive organs to the point where children in America would be more shocked and guilty than those in Japan.

Of course, as a kid, I'd of laughed at it too. 'Cause, you know, I had a penis, and if I'd seen someone running around with theirs hanging out, I'd think it's hilarious because no one in their right mind would do that.

I got in BIG trouble in kindergarten because I took a leak on a tree at recess. They called my dad and he just said, "so what?" It's funny how uptight people can be.

Call me crazy, but I think I actually like the English version of "Makafushigi Adventure" more than the original. I like the way the words flow, and I sing it all the time.

(Especially the "Radiant and shining...Luminous and Blinding..." part)

I peed on a gray brick wall at school once. I would've gotten away with it if it didn't leave a wet spot for like 2 days though.

But yeah, everyone had a big flip out at the school for that. Principal came down to yell at me, a teacher, a playground attendant or two... That was over 10 years ago though. I can't imagine what would happen if a kid did that today.

Well that's not as much the whole 'shame on you for having a body' thing as it is just plain bad decorum and unsanitary. A kid doesn't really know any better, but that's why they get in trouble to tell them it -was- unacceptable.

That's pretty much all anime that are dual-released. Only one I know of where the Japanese is automatic if you just push play is "His and Her Circumstances".

I don't really think that makes a lick of sense. If anything, our media is oversexualized. Have you ever heard and seen a 1st grader mimic Britney Spears? Fucking disturbing. And furthurmore, if Japan is so ok with genetalia, how come everything is blurred out in their pornos?

Not if you're a teacher at the school I go to. He did it last February (February 2009), it was hilarious. He flashed a Wendy's for no reason, and it was his third time too. The police couldn't get to him the first or second time, hahahaha.

Anyways, damn. I never actually went to collect the original Dragon Ball, and since this set is really nice quality, I'm gonna have to buy this when I go get the Dragon Box for Z. Besides, other than two of the Live-Action movies and the second Re-Light, my Death Note collection is done. So, there won't be much to stop me from getting this and DBOX 1.

Sounds like when back in '01 was getting a bunch of new DBZ dvds before I started moving onto buying other anime.

On another note, while I saw it plenty of times in the countless times I've read vols. 1 and 2 of the English manga, was anyone else laughing at Goku's gender checking moments?
