Hopefully by tomorrow everything will be figured out as TGS info is already flooding out, just no DBZ goodness yet.

Making Gogeta and Vegetto separated character at least make sense but SSJ3 Broly separated from Broly? Nah!

It's like making every Characters Transformation a different Slot.

It would be like BT1 All Over Again.

That's because it is BT1 with polished graphics.
The glorious pyrotechnics from Sparkling Meteor is gone and replaced with generic flashes of light.

Edit:
Changed my post since I made a translation error in my head which gave the idea that there were console specific characters while I meant to say that there seem to be console specific CKE's with your pre-order at Play.

Well I actually already posted this in another thread but I don't see any of the so called "Character Key Effects" in here, so without further ado.
If you pre-order the game at Play.com you get this CKE for a specific characters which seems to be different consoles on both the PS3 and X360.
So there are no exclusive characters (at least not that we know of) but you seem to be getting different CKE's with different consoles.

PS3 offers "Character Key Effects" for:
Gotenks
Super Gotenks
Super Gotenks 3
Trunks (with sword)
Super Saiyan Trunks (with sword)

while the X360 offers "Character Key Effects" for:
Gohan (Kid)
Super Gohan (Kid)
SS2 Gohan (Kid)
Piccolo

Wonder if its the same dlc that Amazon is mentioning.

WHAT!? Why does the 360 get better characters?

What exactly are 'unique character key effects'?

EDIT: Wait, did you get this links backwards? The site says the reverse of the way you have it listed.

Unless you're capable of downloading the exclusive characters from the Xbox 360 version to the PS3, there goes any chance of me buying this game. It's so stupid that you can't just get the characters that appear in the series. This game seems halfway done already, and this was the last straw for me.

It DOES seem pretty stupid of them to do that; ALL of the extras should be accessible in BOTH versions of the game.

That may have done it for me as well.

You folks sure are writing things off without even having the full information available to you.

We don't even know WHAT these "extras" are and how they are related to their specific characters. I highly doubt that, for example, you'll ONLY be able to play as Trunks in ONE CONSOLE'S VERSION of the game. That's just ludicrous.

I would assume that if you get the "Limited Edition" of the PS3 version, you don't have to pay for that set of extras, but if you want what the 360 version got, you have to pay for them. And vice versa.

Of course, I also am just completely speculating, but at least I'm not OMG NOT BUY over it... :?

Sorry I noticed I wrote that down wrong.
What I meant was that you get these "Character Key Effects" for these specific characters on that console.
As of yet who knows what this CKE is and maybe we can even earn it if you play through the game, however it probably is nothing more then a bit of added visual flair for that specific character.
Anyway I'll go and edit my previous post now.

And yeah sorry I switched the PS3 and X360.

Do you think the Limited Edition will be sold inside GAME or Gamestation?

Why does Cell-era Vegeta have three SS forms? Shouldn't he have only two?

It looks like they've just combined the Cell and Boo arc Vegetas into one character. Probably with the multiple transformation paths from the last game.

They finally fixed that stupid ring out rule in a 2 player exhibition match. in one and two even if it wasn't a tournment(where it made sense) you got a ring out, and in 3 the stage disapeared but now its back and they fixed the problem.
The stage was in 3, and the ring out rule did apply.
The tournament stage wasn't there for two player vs, just for tournament as in, if I wanted to have a one on one match with my friend, the stage wasn't there. If I wanted to enter in a tournament, then it was there. I got so mad over that because I like that stage. Anyway the point is, now it looks like they got rid of the ring out rule for one on one matches and the stage IS REALLY FUCKING HIGH! YAY! :D

Thank god! I like that more than having 5 different versions of the same character. The question is why didn't they do the same thing with Trunks?
