When I buy games with the Gamestop case, I always go back later and they let me exchange it for a real case. You might ask next time, save you some cash.SuperSaiyan3Goku wrote:At GameStop about 15 minutes ago, I bought another copy of Super Dragonball Z. Why a second copy, you ask? It was for the case. I am dead serious, I only bought this copy of the game solely for the case. When I originally bought the game a few months ago, it came with a crappy GameStop case. So I'll be selling the copy with the crappy case at GameStop for credit.

Here's a bunch of stuff I've gotten recently:
AB RARE 2" sets EBAY

HG 9 from Toywiz

I'm not sure where Toywiz got these as the older series of HG gashapon have become really hard to find but their price wasn't too bad so I jumped on 'em. I'm generally against Toywiz but you should definitely check Toywiz if anyone is looking for this series.
AND FINALLY...
Medicom SS Goku and Piccolo

I finally gave in a bought these despite the price. Strangely enough they had one Medicom Goku and one Medicom SS Goku at the Terminator 2 store at Universal Studios Orlando. I was so tempted to buy them but they were $150 each and I sadly put them back. Of course once I held them in my hands there was no going back and as soon as I returned home I was compelled to buy them. BBTS currently has both of them on sale for really great prices too. $92 for SS Goku and $117 for Piccolo. I just need to find a cheap normal Goku now.
-More pics to come.

That is bad-ass (the good one)!
Even though they're coming out in the US, it's still nice to have the original huh? Especially with all the flack that the US one is getting lately. Anyways, even the box that it ships in is nice. We need like an extensive Japanese (and soon to be US) Dragon Box Thread to show all the ins and outs of it.

I know. I did and it looks really cool. Thing is, everything is all small lol
It's really nice how it has all of the cases and the DVDs that are in them, but it would be cool if there were larger pictures of it and stuff like that. Unless there is a part of Kanzentai that I missed. Also pictures of the actual show in Dragon Box format would be nice. It would also serve useful to compare to FUNimation's upcoming release to see just how much truth they were telling when they said, "we didn't change a thing". I know still images can't compare fully, but at least to make sure that the colors are correct and there is no zoomed in footage, it's pretty useful.

Does that work at any GameStop? It's as simple as going into the store, say "I want the real case for this game", and they just let you trade it in? Does it cost anything? (If that's true, I can trade in my Driver3 and Mario Kart Double Dash GameStop cases....hunterxhunter21 wrote:When I buy games with the Gamestop case, I always go back later and they let me exchange it for a real case. Picked up a few things at Kumori Con a couple of weeks ago:

First up: Bulma statue. I don't have any other Bulma figures besides a small gashapon, so I figured I needed more Bulma in my collection to balance out all of the Vegetas I have (which is about, uh, 20, so I'll probably need more Bulma figures than actually exist to make up that difference
). I'll probably also buy the Bulma shown in the above user's picture, since I already own that Vegeta, and I'm pretty sure the store I work at still has Bulmas in stock (no one wanted her, just the fighting characters
)

OK, this is awesome. It's called "Dragonball Panorama World," and it's five different sets that all hook together into one. Best of all, the boxes are labeled with which one is inside, so you don't have to buy blind and hope that you get the one you need. Only downside, for me, is that these sets are now selling at the store I work at, and for cheaper than I bought them for at the con....dammit!

This is from a series of keychains. There's about eight in the series, but you don't know which one you're going to get. Press the little 'kami' button on the front and....

Karin pops out! It wasn't the one I wanted most out of the series (that would have been, of course, Vegeta), but I was satisfied with it, since I don't really have any Karin stuff (actually, the only other one I have is the small one that came in the above Panorama World set).

I bought Z Manga volumes 15 through 17 earlier today at Borders.
At the end of the month, I'll be getting about 4 other volumes from Overstock.

Right now I'm debating if next month I should bet the Viz collection manga, you know, the entire Dragon Ball and "Dragon Ball Z" manga box sets. I'm on the fence about those. Any recommendations? I like the pictures and all, just not sure I would really read it. And not sure how the Viz version is. I've heard great things about it, and on the other hand I've heard crappy things about it. Great translation, crappy censoring and character name changes.

Sailorspazz, would you be able to take pictures of the little figures that come with that playset kinda thing? Like you mentioned Karin but I can't see him, so I'm curious if anyone else cool is hiding in there ^^

I've been following the VizBigs, and so far (almost through DB) I love it. The censorship is negligible: seriously one panel every third volume. Haven't gotten to olde english Piccolo yet though; not sure how that will be.TheGreatness25 wrote:Right now I'm debating if next month I should bet the Viz collection manga, you know, the entire Dragon Ball and "Dragon Ball Z" manga box sets.
