Fixing the page, because this always happens to this thread.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Heres a quick update on my collection. still not that much but like I said before, my whole anime/manga collection is getting bigger so my DragonBall collection follows. I still have my "Collectors Edition" Goku figure, its just not in the shot.

Season sets 8 and 9 (soon to be sold for FUNimation DragonBoxes) are new since my last post and so are Kanzenban 2-7.

This may come out of left field, but this is one of my favorite Threads. Everyone has such great things. Whether it's a toy, a card, a DVD, or something that I've never even seen before (foreign DVDs or something), I'm impressed every time.

If we'll start the topic 'show off your crap'' we should be impressed as well

Hey again! Made another video, this time showing off how many Vegeta's I have. Not as many as the number of Gohans, but still a very respectable collection I think :D Enjoy! Let me know if you have any thoughts on who I should do next!:

Yeah, September 15th was the day it came out!

I'm still gonna wait a bit to get this. It's not a real priority of mine right now.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

I got it yesterday and I was absolutely surprised. I ordered it off Amazon for like $30 or $35 with free shipping and handling (2-9 days) and I actually got it delivered to my house on the day it came out for apparently like $10 cheaper. I love Amazon. I didn't really care about saving for this one, I was just pre-ordering the Dragon Box One for $55 with free shipping and handling, as well as Dragon Ball Season Two. If I get those on the actual day it comes out, I'll be a happy camper. Can't ask for anything more. By the way, I went on Best Buy's website...what is wrong with them? They have the Dragon Box listed as $89.99 when every advertisement of it and on the official website it is listed as $79.99. They are turning into thieves. I noticed that when a video game in Game Stop was like $15 cheaper than in Best Buy.

I started buying the DBZ singles in 2002, and I finally finished my collection two days ago :D So here's the whole mess!

Image
The picture itself is terrible, but it's a beautiful sight to behold- my singles! Guarded by Tendril and hilariously bad 80's rocker Ken.. I wish I could take a picture of these that wasn't glarey as shit. Dragonball two-disk sets (save part 3) through the first disk of Trunks on the left, and the rest of the series on the right.

I know the first 53 eps are edited dub only, but all the same I'm terribly excited. And the Dragonboxes will fill that gap for the Japanese episodes as well soon enough ^^

Dude! I used to have Tendril too! I also had Metlar, but I never got a D'Compose (ironic as I had wanted him over Metlar). Tendril's tentacles are bendable, and the two mandibles(?) in the front light up if you shine a light over the top of his head.

Yeah, it's off-topic, but not as much as you would think. At least Inhumanoids was animated by Toei.

We had the whole set of them as kids and loved them to death ^^; I found this guy at a flea market a few months ago and knew I needed him.

Thanks for reminding me what he does, I've been puzzling over the thing on top of his head for a while.

would someone be kind enough to guide me on where's the best place to import Japanese DB stuff from Japan to overseas? Trustworthy of course. I don't read Japanese too.

There's this rtecec site where it acts as a 3th party but it seems expensive. I wanna get the Lawson DB limited toys.

Or is there anyone here from Japan that can help me with it and I'll pay commission to you? thanks!

Finally updated pics from my collection! My first Kai DVD finally arrived, sadly my Blu ray version still has one more day until it clears customs.

Here are my "extraneous" Dragon Ball DVDs next to my Dragon Boxes and some other treasures that are very dear to me!

Krycek, I gotta admit, the Dino and Dragon Bucklers are bringin a tear to my eye. I'm still struggling to find an MMPR morpher at a reasonable price!
