RDS Presents - Reunion

After 10 years of making videos, it's time to go back to the beginning.

This is the Reunion.

No effects, no strobing, no insane timing. Just simple cuts like back in the day. A video about the 2 father/sons (Goku/Gohan and Vegeta/Trunks) theme of progression between themselves and the villains.

For the most dedicated old school fans, here's a 160 x 120 MPEG1 "Reunion Nostalgia Version"

A former Vegeta Insane/Ginga GIRI GIRI production.

See the rest of the videos that started it all here!

Enjoy!

Ah, I see you are a Megumi Hayashibara fan!(Does that also, by extension make you a Slayers/Lost Universe fan as well, or is your usage of songs from those animes purely coincidental?)

Nice work on those videos which I had never seen until now, and the awesome reunion video! The clips went very well with the song. :)

I haven't hear the audio yet, but I will. I have to say you have great choice of clips. I don't see the clips from Buu arc until the very end. :)

What the Hell is the point of watching a music video unless you're listening to the music...?

I suppose some people just like a good clip show.

That's was really good. I especially liked when the parts with all 4 SS(J)'s started to become really synchronized. That's was pretty cool what you did!

My mother was sleeping. Can't have the volume on. I said I was going to listen to the music later, then give out my opinion later. What's so wrong about that?

Edit: 1:20 reminds me of a song from Final Bout opening. Dang, it blew my mind! Your AMV is, by far, the best music video. Most other AMVs are just ok. Good job!

When I first read this, I almost thought YouTube deleted the audio for copyright infringement. :x

Thanks for the feedback everyone. It's been a fun 10 years and I'm looking forward to another 10. :)

Sorry. My bad. Anyway, just like most people say, your AMW's the best.

Wow. That was incredible. I'm not even going to lie to you... that was the best AMV I've ever seen. The theme was perfect, the music was perfect, the clips were perfect... it actually told a story, with even the littlest of things really contributing to the finale. Very well done. I can see that you've come a long way as an AMV creator. Congratulations on a job well done, as well as your 10th anniversary as an AMV creator in the making.

Excellent AMV, Castor. Hmm, did your 4:3 material for the post-27/pre-68 episodes come from Pioneer's Ocean DVDs? Dende's vest is red, as opposed to the purple color I think the Dragonbox has, hence my asking.

Thanks!

The only Dragonbox Footage I used were the Saiyan saga, Early Namek saga, Cell's defeat, Bardock special, and Trunks special. So yeah, I used the R2's for the footage with Dende. At the time, I had the R2's of 1-90, 189-194 before I sold them to SSJ_Rambo. I literally had to get the R2 of 189-194 because FUNi's version of the episodes was incredibly macroblocky.

I did have the movie dragonbox footage to use, but I didn't want to resize or crop it, so I settled for the R1's for a consistent 4:3 video.

This may be common knowledge, but Castor, did your Youtube account get deactivated? I went to do some nostalgia bombing/Megumi listening and was shot down.

Yup, got my 3 strikes and I'm out policy. :(

My amv.org account has mostly everything, but not every single video I'm afraid.
