Well, hell. These guys can take as long of a rest as they want. They've been pumping out quality fan art for over, what, a year? And for absolutely nothing in return except a ton of happy fans. Tell them to take a month long break. Tell them three months.

Presumably movie 8 and 10 (or more likely, variations of) took place in the manga timeline. Perhaps fan-manga Broly only showed up somewhere post-Boo?

As for knowing Brolly, this fan manga implies that the movies (or variations of them) happened in the main timeline to make it more interesting and have more fighters. Since Vegetto`s universe is just like universe 18 except for Vegetto than they would know everything that universe 18 knows.

As for Goku stating that Vegetto wouldn`t be able to do anything, he is probably only considering the Vegetto that he knew. This Vegetto had quite a few years to train so he is probably stronger than the Vegetto he knew. Thats why Goku says he probably won`t beat Brolly, but Vegetto says that he will. However, Vegetto isn`t very sure of how strong Brolly got with his constantly growing strength, so even he is cautious.

Brolly wouldn`t be anything special if that constantly growing theory is not true, but considering it is true, then it makes sense.

It's not like he isn't eventually going to be killed, though. If not by a SSj2 or SSj3 Vegetto, than by an [awesome] combined attack from multiple fighters.

If they have the technology to jump dimensions at will and put a protective 'blanket'over the audience; I am sure they have a fail safe incase anything really bad was happening. Or disqualify him and everyone jumps him.

Very true. But waaaayy more than not likely for Vegetto, let alone a Vegetto who trained for 20 years. TWENTY!

Also, let's not forget that 25th Budokai-era Gohan only lost to movie 10 Broly because plot determined he needed to stay in base form almost all the time.

Broly's a monster, but only against people from the Cell saga. Tack on tons of years of "growing" and he'll be on par with Boo saga people. These people are twenty years beyond that. Had they done something like say the growth caused him to be able to go SSJ3, then it'd be interesting because how would LSSJ affect that?
