We got that in Budokai, not sure how you could do it much differently.Thanos6 wrote:SS2 Mirai Trunks, done properly.

I basically use demos or try it at a friends house rather then make judgment based on what IGN or Gamespot has to say. Lair got panned by almost every game site out there however I though it was fun not the best thing out there mind you but still a lot of fun. On the flip side Halo has always received praise by critics but I think the game is crap.Taku128 wrote:Because if a game gets universally panned you don't have to waste $60 on it to figure out that it sucks. Likewise, you could pick up a game that got universally praised that you wouldn't have bothered trying otherwise. Now that we have online demos though, you can try most games for yourself without wasting any money.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:Does it matter? IGN have been known to give out better reviews for DBZ games and I think they give it around a 7.0 - 8.8 if you ask me.
I guess its handy in some cases but overall I never take any review seriously.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?
You just need to find a reviewer that you always agree with and stick with them. There are a few people I generally agree with, but none of them work for major review sites. As for the two you mentioned, I haven't trusted Gamespot since they fired Jeff Gerstmann, and IGN has shitty opinions.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:I basically use demos or try it at a friends house rather then make judgment based on what IGN or Gamespot has to say. The only opinions I listen to is that of http://noobtoob.com/ (but even then we don't always agree). The cool thing is they don't give it a score they tell you if they liked or not or if it was worth a rental. Plus if you dissagree you can post your own review on the site.Taku128 wrote:You just need to find a reviewer that you always agree with and stick with them. Holy crap though, they gave Godhand a 3?! That game was awesome, it deserves a lot more than a 3!

It was done properly. There is no real difference to the two forms other than the lightning and hair sticking up more. We've got the lightning and Trunks' hair stands on end already. Seems done properly to me.RoarkVegeta wrote:Done properly. It was only there because they didn't bother with the 2nd and 3rd grades of Super Saiyan though. There was never any story to go along with it. He just had the form.SSJ2bardock wrote:It was done properly. There is no real difference to the two forms other than the lightning and hair sticking up more. Review wise I go with Gametrailers. However not to judge the game. While I tend to agree with a lot of their reviews the reason I use Gametrailers.com for reviews before i buy a game is this, It's a video review. I get to see the game in action more and hear what the modes are like.
However if I really want a game I'll buy it the day it comes out no matter what reviews say. E.g this year I'll buy New Super Mario bros wii. The day it comes out. DragonBall: Raging Blast I'll wait till it's on sale or something if I buy it at all.

I always thought the Super Saiyan hair Trunks had when he returned home and the ascended Super Saiyan look for short hair trunks in Burst Limit were the best representations of what Trunk's hair would like if he went SSj2.
I know it never happened in the show but I would like to think that after witnessing Gohan's power and then saving his own time line Trunks learned how to go Super Saiyan 2.

That's the same reason I go to that site too, plus I love Bonus Round.... the reason I use Gametrailers.com for reviews before i buy a game is this, It's a video review. I get to see the game in action more and hear what the modes are like.

He was given the Super Saiyan 2 appearance, would some bull shit made up story make it "done right" to you?Amigo Ten wrote:I wouldn't say it was done right, it was just done. "Done right" I take to mean "done justice" or something similar, which it wasn't. It was just there.

So I pre-ordered this the other day, but they didn't give me the choice of a Special addition. Is there a Special Edition for the U.S. release?

Well, I'd want something. If Vegeta just turned up in this game as SS3 with no explanation and it wasn't important in any way would you say they had done SS3 Vegeta right?SSJ2bardock wrote:He was given the Super Saiyan 2 appearance, would some bull shit made up story make it "done right" to you?Amigo Ten wrote:I wouldn't say it was done right, it was just done. Well with all the SSJ3 stuff getting its own story I would assume it is done right. Plus look at Teincha he didn't have a story and no one complained.Amigo Ten wrote:Well, I'd want something. @ Big Momma
Unfortunately I dont think an american special editon is available. I tried to do the same but I was only able to reserve the standard edition.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.
