Search Google images "dragonball". Second result is a porn site.

The skills needed as an English Major to write this piece of text must have been over 9000!

I am disgusted.

Fair point, but it's not like finding porn on Google Images is hard. I'm sure these people are too quick to jump to conclusions and include it as 'evidence' for that though. Heck, they'd probably think the porn site images are by Akira Toriyama himself.

Funny, but I didn't mean the images. If you looked Dragon Ball up on Wikipedia, even went to the official website by Funimation, you'd see it wasn't pornography. A little research would easily reveal that.

But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

We're dealing with a collision of emotion, politics, and Dragonball. Of the three, Dragonball is the one to which rationality applies best.

Turn safe search on. :P

And yea, politics or not, doing a little research helps.

Good freaking God, this is annoying as hell. People, God gave you a cranium, USE IT!

I understand you're upset over your child seeing a poorly drawn penis, and as much fun as it would be to make fun of you for that, I won't. I get it, you guys don't want your kid to read Dragon Ball because you didn't like what you saw. GOOD! Being a parent is important, now be a parent to YOUR kid and actually be involved in what they see and do. Don't try to be everyone else's parent. Also, if you're going to label something as pornography, the least you could do is research the subject before coming to that conclusion.

God, I may come from a right wing perspective, politically, but when the right wing extremes do this it annoys me to no end.

The article wrote:I had to ask the same question about a dozen times before I could get a straight answer – the WCBOE has NO POLICY requiring librarians to actually read the books purchased prior to placing them on the shelves for children.
This I found most interesting in this article. I guess the librarian figured since it looked kid-friendly on the cover that it must be suitable for children.

Now what's that old saying about books and covers..? You'd think a librarian would know that.

There is always this PG thing and all, in Czech republic there is no PG rating and everything, only on things imported from USA like games....

And know what, there never was trouble simmilar to what occurs in some countries like USA, Germany or Hungary with kids and parents and censhorship....

Only problem here was with that Christians were fucked up by Pokémon series because of cute animals they are battling each other and that kids went fanatic because of that show
That's funny from people, whose goal is salvation after dead.....

If I'd say it in funny way, they were only pissed of because instead of going to churches, kids were rather watching japanese TV shows at Sunday mornings and CZ is 6th country in the world with 61% of population being atheist and we were pretty pissed off because of pope's visit, because it was paid from our assesments which are really big and they closed the biggest highway between two biggest cities on two days....

You know, 73% of US population are religionists and the reason of those trouble with books is religion..... You can't imagine how even harmless (only nowadays) christianty can make bunch of idiots from ordinary people.... I know it well, my mother is christian and he wants her children to be christians....

Christians were evil for all the middle age, what's up, they claim they are not nowadays and I'm not sayin' they are evil guys!!! Only thing that is true and everyone should know is tht biggest threat of this civilization are dumb people and religions and what is the worst, someone dumb crossed with religion.....

I can say how pretty and well I was discussing with Jehova's Witnesses' members about these things.

Man, every war in Europe was because of religion.... If we don't count both WW's and I bet that these ''Dragon Ball banned'' cases are because of religion. You know, soul purists , who are lovely and nice, never commited a sin and this bullshit are against drawn penises, Pokémon and harmless stuff for kids, but you can't imagine what they are doing behind your back....

I'm not saying it's everyone religious case, but people are not perfect and who says that he is, lying!
If somebody is calling that he's good christian, muslim or whatever, he have his flaws.... And that's what I don't like.

I really hate when someone claims he's christian, shouting that in this comic book or magazine for kids is pornography, pushing it to the court and then he's masturbating on toilet with porn in other hand.......
That's the real world and mastrubation is forbidden by sixth god order you know.

Hey guys, if you are christians, then admit it and don't be ashamed of it. You really don't have, because if you are behaving in the way that christian should, then it's okay and you should be proud of yourself.
But if someone is behaving bad and then he points his finger and saying: this is bad, this is really bad! Then he's not good christian or is he?
As Jesus said: Who's completely without sin, throw a rock at me....

I'm disgusted by this kind of people.....
I know it's hard to breaktrough my english but I never said that christianity is evil, people are evil and if you are mature, you should know it well....

Again, this is not the topic, nor even necessarily the forum, for that kind of thing. Let's let it go, okay?

And while people are complaining about this, a local department store decided that the best place to set up a display of Death Note manga was in their toy department.

The only piece of Death Note that truly belongs in the toy department is the novel.
