...Aaaand don't forget Goten opposite no one. I guess that was there just for "

I've always liked the idea of a Dragonball chess game, but I definitely would have used different characters for some of those pieces. First of all, I hate having the same character as multiple pieces (especially when there are so many to choose from), and I definitely would not have had Buu and Goku (that is Goku, right?) as pawns. Great collection!!
That's not Goku it's Goten riding nimbus. But you're right I would have a choose completely different set of characters for this chess board. But Goten as a pawn seems about right.
White (Good)
King - Goku
Queen - Bulma
Rook - Piccolo
Bishop - Adult Trunks
Knight - Gohan Riding Nimbus
Pawn - Bubbles
Black (Evil)
King - Cell
Queen - Freeza
Rook - Buu
Bishop - Vegeta
Knight - "Jheese on Bulma's hover bike thingy"
Pawn - Pilaf
If I could sculpt I would make my own pieces. It's a good motivation to start learning though.

I agree with your list, except for the Bulma and Frieza parts. I think Chi-Chi would be more fitting in Bulma's position (thank me later, Rocketman...), and making the Queen be Frieza would be... . . . ... *ahem* awkward.

I agree that Chichi would be better fit for queen. I only picked Bulma because she is the mostly popular female in the series. Freeza as queen is just perfect in my opinion and yes maybe even a little awkward.

Well, then again... I think it makes sense to say that Frieza would be Queen. Just look at the damn weasel.

Lol. It would be too shocking if I had balls other than dragonballs and basketball.
I got those from japan several years ago through yahoo auctions. After shipping, if was around $200-220usd. The stars are inside but in a 2D plane so at certain angles. You only see the side of those stars. The very small dragonballs 4 and 5 star obtained through purchase of budokai for ps2 and gamecube are better because those stars are 3 dimensional.

Yeah, Genki's collection was posted in this thread quite a while ago, in like the 20's pages. I loved looking through it all and figuring out what each little rare item was.
