Great song! I don't happen to know if it was released or not. Sorry. Would you by any chance be able to post the video it came from?

I'm pretty sure that is the fancy Hyper Anime DragonBall CG music video promo that was aired during special video presentations at the Toriyama Exhibition art-shows across Japan from 1994-1998. It was also released on the last disc of the first DBZ Dragon Box, so maybe someone who has that can confirm this for us. If this is in fact that rare video, I highly doubt the song was used or released anywhere else, in which case it's something I'll have to look into getting a clean rip of!!

As far as I know, nah, that music's never been released on a CD anywhere.

That's a pitty, It's quite a great track and I think that it's sung by Shinichi Ishihra??? Because I like his music very much, but can't tell on 100% it's him...

Yeah, I'd really like to know the artist of this track. The video came out around when the Hit Song Collections were wrapping up their many releases, so it possibly could've been a throwaway tune from that collection. I really wish we had some contact info to ask someone at Toei or something about this. I guess we could just try Toei's main e-mail... If we could just get someone to type up the lyrics (just a line or two) we could search for them online and maybe get somewhere. I heard there was some info on this video in a guidebook, maybe Daizensuu 7?

The good news is that since this was released on the Dragon Box, we can probably get a better audio rip of this than from this YouTube video, from one of our many kind and gracious forum peers that owns the first Dragon Box...

One of the things I'm really wondering about is whether or not there are two songs used in the video, or just one. There are two segments of music that sound very different, but they go right from the first to the next, with no pause at all, as if it was just a change in the song. And since all evidence points to this song being created solely for this video, I doubt they would've had to resort to pulling in some other random song and doing a crappy transition between the two. In other words, they should've been able to do whatever they wanted to do with the audio, and the only reason such a transition between two songs would've been used, is when they had no control over the songs themselves (which they should've), or if it was an intentional element of the one song. Here's the transition between the two: http://www.4shared.com/file/141415465/5 ... songs.html

Really liking this song!!

What're the chances that we get any cool extras like this on the Dragon Boxes? I'm thinking none.

It's not on any of Hit Song Collections, I was listening yesterday....

Look's like it's only made for this promo, but that looks little overmade for me. If you are looking on DB Game advertisements, there is always some random music and I don't see any big importance of this promo.

Well, its very rare for a Dragonball advertisement or promo to use an original vocal piece, and this one sounds really cool, and isn't just some 20 second snippet.

Sorry to bump this thread (and double post), but since it was never really answered, I thought I might as well. I looked at this scan of the back of the Super Butouden walkthrough VHS, and it does mention this "Hyper Anime DragonBall" CG promo, and I thought maybe it just might also say something about the BGM artist. Doesn't look like it does, but either way it would be nice to know what it does say, and it's a nice thing to throw out there in case anyone hasn't seen it or known about it.

I saw those 3D Goku and Cell on that screenshots in Super Butoden advertisement, so it can mention that advertisement.......
