CD not listed in music database

Post by strawberry » Sat Feb 05, 2005 2:50 pm

Some time ago I bought a cd called "Dragonball Z Music Fantasy" (FMCC-5053) at yahoo auctions Japan.

As this cd is not listed in the database (or I am blind and did not find it) and you are cleanig up the database, I thought you might be interested in scans, a tracklisting, etc.

I'm sorry if I made any mistakes. This is my first post (or was it posting?) here and my English is not very good.

No you are right. It isn't listed. I had sent complete scans of it to EX last year as I also own the CD. As far as I know it's a bootleg and I believe it's mainly selections of pieces from the video games. I really ought to poke Mike about it again.

Edit: You know what? I'll just paste the images right here and that way anyone who can translate or knows anything further about it can help. I'm sure Mike's busy enough as it is.

EverAnime. Bootleg.

Bootlegs don't take much priority with the listings :).

Well, here are some scans from my cd (sorry for the bad quality, but I didn't want the files to become so large).
I does not seem like a bootleg to me. I think it's an original cd.

Ah, Forte Music is more like it! :D Yeah, that's definitely not a bootleg. Thanks~.

Um, should I send you better scans?

Well, here is the tracklist. I am not sure about the names (except for Hironobu Kageyama ^^"), so I only tried to find a reading for the vocalists' names.

1. Overture
2. Z Senshi Thema
3. MONDAI Nai Sa!! (vocals: Hironobu Kageyama)
4. Shudaika Medley ~Kung-Fu Battle~
(Makafushigi Adventure! / CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA / WE GOTTA POWER)
5. Nakama-tachi
6. Nihao Daisuki (vocals: Kumiko Inabe?)
7. Jigoku No Sakebi
8. Ankoku No Teiô
9. Kimi Ga Iru Chikyû Ni Kita Yo (vocals: Susumu Ôya?)
10. Closing Medley
(Romantic Ageru Yo / Detekoi Tobikiri ZENKAI Power! / Boku-tachi Wa Tenshi Datta)

Your translating/romanizing the tracklist isn't a big deal; I don't think there's much in the way of new material on that CD, so it's just a matter of identifying which songs they are and using our pre-existing romanizations/translations.

Oh, I see.

I uploaded better scans here.
I hope they are ok that way, because the zip-file is quite large (4,3 MB).
Sorry if that is too big. Just tell me and I will resize them.

Edit: Urgh. Starting every sentence with "I" sounds strange. Does that look better? Probably not. :(

They woulda been fine, but now he's gone and scanned the insides which makes this new set far superior.

This cd couldn't have been a bootleg because "MONDAI nai sa" is the last song of "THE BEST SELECTIONS" cd and it says is from the MUSIC FANTASY cd.

I don't own the cd, but I have it all on my computer  and I don't think any of the tracks are known (except the op/end remix)

Sorry for the necro-posting but I never saw this topic before (I don't how  ), so please forgive me.
