About the whole reality changing puch thing...are you telling me that if Super Boy Prime just decided to fly into space and throw a punch then he would break/alter reality? Plus if You think about if Goku were to fight Superman wouldn that involve the 2 universes merging together, and if that was the case I think Superman wouldnt have that much control over reality.

Yeah since have Goku become friends with Superman, Piccolo meeting Martian Manhunter, Vegeta meeting with The Flash, Gohan meeting Kyle Rayner.

But couldn't Goku just use Instant Transmission on Superman and take him somewhere like, i dunno, Kaio's place and kill him easy?

I mean, theres no red sun, so wouldn't Superman be a normal person? Then bang, Goku wins.

I don't think either character would want to kill the other if they were to fight.
And I don't think Goku would do that, he would want a fair fight.

Superman doesn't lose his powers instantly without a yellow sun. He's more like a battery. All taking him somewhere else would do is give him limited stamina like Goku, as opposed to never getting tired.

On topic, the Wikipedia page about Superman's powers talks about some of the different versions of him. If you want to find one that's a good match for Goku, it might be worth a read.

Superman and Goku need to just team up since They've been fighting for so long that they'd make a great duo. Have them team up against a new foe or something original.

That's the setting of most battles. You wouldn't get a proper fight if they were just friendly to each other now would you?

JLU Superman and 1930's Superman are easy enough targets for Goku.
Anything above these poses as a serious challenge to Goku.

Babidi/Bibidi could defeat silver-age superman with a single spell.

Oh, i've never actually read any Superman comics, i'm just going off what i remember of Superman 1 & 2 (forget 3 and 4).

If superman is only weak in a red sun, i dunno, take him to namek, there was a bunch of suns there, one of thems gotta be red right? haha

Superman tends to act like a Superdick a lot of the time, so I really doubt he has a pure heart.

Anyway, anime DBZverse rapes, seriously. There are guys that can bust the universe in there. If we are talking about the manga DBZverse, then its Superman's turn to dish out the pain. The anime and manga DBZverses are in two different leagues.

I think a clash of personalities would certainly be interesting to see. Son Gokû, the selfish fight-loving guy vs. the Man of Steel who doesn't fight for selfish reasons/fun like Gokû has been known to.

IC Superman Prime, Superman One Million, Cosmic Armor Superman, and PC Superma would most likely solo any part of DB. No one in any part of DB has shown to wipe out a galaxy or universe with raw power. I think the issue with most Goku vs. Superman threads are that their is no real argeement with them since DBZ fanboys will flame each other and have no idea what they are talking about since most of them never read comics.

A good example was a user on another site named Phenomenol, who was the biggest DBZ fanboy in existence (or what I have seen) and cherry-picking scenes from the DBZ manga and anime to support his points ignoring when they contradicted each other.[/quote]

Essentially yes, but it takes ALL his strength and won't happen every single time either. Basically the shockwaves on the dimensional barriers resulted in the ambient timelines affecting the main timeline. This story was mostly done to show A) how+why he went nuts, B) how strong he is compared to the other Supermen, and C) why random retcons could occur between Zero Hour and the Infinite Crisis.

Back on-topic, even SSJ4 Goku couldn't do something like this, so Superboy-Prime is by far the strongest out of everyone.

Could someone show me some pics showcasing the incredible power of Pre-Crises Superman? I've always heard about how god-like he is, but I've never read enough of the comics to get a good example.
