During Cook's performance he ran way over his alloted time, so they tried to get him to "wrap it up" several times before they ended up just having to shut his microphone off. That's when he stormed off stage.

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

He was also Rolf from Ed,Edd and Eddy, which to me is his most redeeming quality.

Do yourself a favor and don't. CE Gundam was a travesty.

Kira Yamato's VA was also Ryo in Ronin Warriors.

Will say they sound nothing like Ed and Edd. Though Athrun's VA knew as soon as I asked him to do Edd's voice and to sign my Ed, Edd, n Eddy dvd I was from the States (was in Canada at the time).

That's cool. His name is Samuel Vincent, and he's done quite a few other major roles, including Yukito Tsukishiro from Cardcaptor Sakura, Hikaru from Hikaru no Go, and Sonic's singing voice from Sonic Underground.

I think Family Guy and King of the Hill are the only good shows that Adult Swim airs. I was a fan of Cowboy Bebop, Shin Chan, The Boondocks, Oblongs, Mission Hill, Baby Blues, even Home Movies. I cannot stand what they have on now. My taste may not be all up in the anime, but nobody said Adult Swim was an anime-only lineup.

Anyway, I thought Kaboom meant shows which were created by CN (in order), not which one finished its run last.

He was really good. I loved the parts about Ikea, that stuff about buying shit you don't want is all to familiar.

Was it wrong that I wanted him to do the Goku voice by accident during his routine?

Don't listen to this guy.

Gundam SEED is a decent enough show and is pretty enjoyable. It's not enjoyable if you're one of those people who's been throwing Sunrise under the rug since 1993 when they decided it was time to stop letting Tomino's cocaine-fueled fit of depression produce another Gundam show with mass named character slaughter as one of the principal themes.

Seriously. Character deaths stopped being meaningful 10 episodes into Victory.

SEED has a great soundtrack and the storyline is more or less ported over from the original series and parts of other UC shows, but the show was always advertised as such so to this day I don't really understand why this is a knock against SEED. If you don't watch it with bias (which is what a lot of the people who hate on it do, whether they want to admit it or not) then you'll be fine. As far as being a form of visual entertainment, it does its job.

Now, I've never experience Tomino-purists (as big a fan as I am of his series' involving Amuro, Char, and Kamille), but G Gundam and Gundam 00 are infinently better than SEED (at least, as I've come to understand from many big fans of the franchise. I myself couldn't stomach the first compilation film beyond five minutes and the manga adaptation I read was so utterly boring I couldn't remember the plot). The characters (at least as presented in Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2), are so painfully spineless, confused, and angst-ridden (and so alike) I don't think I'd want to stomach through either SEED series, espicially when they far too shamelessly rip off the original and Zeta and then stab 'Kamille Jr.' Shinn in the back.

But I'm probably just biased...

Enjoy your bland characters with no presence, watered down UC tropes, and copypasta character and mechanical designs.

Also, racial equivalences that don't make sense.

Back to Mr. Kelamis, I sat through that entire comedy act on YouTube. It was... ehhh. I chuckled a few times, but I hope he's improved since.
